My wife and I stayed at a cabin rented through Cabins of the Smoky Mountains two years ago. It was a wonderful place. We just returned from a stay at the Secret Seclusion cabin. The cabin itself was a one room cabin which was fine. We were, however, displeased with the fact that there was no stove and oven. The only way to cook was in a tiny microwave. There were no cooking utensils and no microwave cookware. We had to go to Walmart and buy those items. There was no mention of this when I looked at the website. When I talked with management, the person said that there was a picture of the kitchen, and that was adequate notice. The website also does not mention that pets are not allowed. We were able to negotiate that away, since our dogs are support dogs covered under the ADA. What I am really telling you is to ask a lot of questions about the cabin you choose so that you are not caught unawares. I would not recommend Secret Seclusion unless you plan to or can afford to eat out for your meals.

We stayed in Friends in high places cabin which is Beautiful and well maintained. Location of our cabin is secluded but at the same time easily accessible with GPS. Excellent furnishing and amenities. Views are awesome. Would love to book same cabin for our next visit.

Great place to stay. Staff is very friendly and professional. The cabin we stayed in was very clean and presentable upon arrival. Outstanding coupon package on arrival of tickets worth over $300. Whether or not one chooses to use the tickets or not, it still gives a great idea of the attractions that are available in the immediate area.

Had a great time at 'Smoky's Awesome View'. Everything was clean. Hot Tub was hot. Maintenance man was very fast and efficient at fixing the hot tub when it ran out of water. Will definitely be making this a yearly trip and check out the other cabins.

Came to Pigeon Forge for our Honeymoon. We stayed in the Above and Beyond cabin on Legacy Mountain. I'm so glad we did. That mountain was beautiful. The views were breath taking. The cabin itself was pretty nice. The hot tub was wonderful, soaking tub, and the added Candle Lit Dinner Package was wonderful. Cleanliness and overall upkeep are definitely an issue with the cabins. As I can tell from past reviews and my experience, but it is a pet friendly cabin which made things like the downstairs carpet smelling somewhat like pee understandable. Overall, would definitely recommend. Might try out another cabin next round!

We stayed in Mountain Top View. Our cabin was absolutely perfect! Very clean, in very good condition and everything worked perfectly. Our expectations were blown away. The views were nothing short of amazing! All of the amenities and extras that were advertised were all there and worked perfectly. My personal favorite was the old school 2 player arcade game with over 30 games approximately on it. Customer service, check in and out were all very well done and quick. I have NEVER reviewed anything before but this was totally worth my time. I read through the review log that is left on the kitchen counter and saw not one bad review going back over 5 years and these are left by people that have actually stayed in the cabin. Any bad reviews you may read here on google are most likely left by jerks from other competitors in the area trying to scare away business. We will definitely be renting with his company again! Thank you for the memories!!

Cabin was beautiful. Full of amenities for my entire family. From the full kitchen, to plenty of space, to the hot tub to the indoor swimming pool in the cabin. We loved it. Had 2 issues that were not resolved while there on our vacation. Large amounts of wasps were inside of cabin and a very large nest was found outside in the gutter. All that was done was to bring us a can of wasp spray that wouldn't even reach the nest. Also never had the trash picked up. Had to leave garbage inside of the cabin to keep from setting out for wild animals to potentially get. Otherwise great place to stay!

The cabin was very nice. Mainly 1floor, which was a nice change from other cabins where we have stayed in the area. And a nice area is town. In fact, the only complaint was the in-cabin pool. Upon re-reading the description, it does not say it is heated, but I assumed mountains + cold winter weather + indoor pool = heated. Ice water was more like it. We were there in October, and nights did get cool, but daytime temps were mid 80’s. Was disappointed in spending the extra $. That said, we would definitely try another cabin, or maybe even one of their resorts, from Cabins of the Smoky Mountains. Every person we dealt with was really helpful.

We had a wonderful experience in our cabin, "A Rare Find". The view from the outdoor hot tub was fantastic. The cabin was well stocked with towels, dishwasher liquid, toilet paper, and cooking /eating supplies. We enjoyed the pool table as well. It was extremely clean when we arrived. Thermostats worked great on each level. Would definitely recommend.

My family and I stayed at Mountain Brook Lodge 6/26-6/28 we started out here(cabins of the smoky mountains ) which was a disaster from dirty floors, dirty tubs, nasty filters, dirty pool, toilets not working, Televisions not working , not enough towels for 40 people and coupons not in cabin (BEARS) in cars funny but not funny..We called customer service from the time we got their. some of the customer service seemed if they were not even concerned when we called with the complaints of what was going on with the cabinthe last person that came out stated that they were aware of everything that was wrong with this cabin notified the owners nothing has been faxedthe carpet was so nasty that my son had on socks on walking around in the cabin and when he took a shower it was black dirt coming from his feet just nasty.. This cabin should not even be rented out until all the work has been done to fix it upIt is a nice cabin and sleeps 58 just need alot of tender loving care.I will continue to use the cabins of the smokey mountains resort for vacation but they should really have a customer service training for their staff and not rent out cabins that are in bad shape

The customer service for this company is horrendous. They finish every call with "have a blessed day", but don't be fooled by that friendly manner. They ultimately are dishonest and could not care less about the customer. We rented a cabin for 24 and they didn't have bedding or towels for that many. I knew they wouldn't have the toiletries and kitchen goods required for that many so we bought that, but to not have towels and linens in unacceptable. Worst part was check in process. I paid in advance to expedite check in and they said that would help put our house first on the list for cleaning that day. Check in time "begins" at 4:00; so we went shopping for all groceries and I still hadn't received the address at 4:30 so I called and they told me the cleaning was being "inspected" They told me that same story 2 hours earlier! At 5:00 still no address so I googled and found it and headed to the house to find a cleaning crew nowhere near to being done. The crew was kind enough to let me put our items in the fridge and freezer while we waited outside. When I asked what exactly check in at 4:00 means they told me that is the earliest we could check in and that it could be a few hours after that. I have never heard of such a crazy check in process in my life. So when I called for check out they told me it was 10:00 so I said just like check in time I assume that is the time it "begins" and they didn't find that too humorous. I asked for compensation and they wouldn't budge and said I had agreed to those terms. I finally got the code at 6:30PM while we had 5 families with groceries and a dinner that needed to be cook. DO NOT RENT FOR THIS COMPANY!!!

We rented the National Park Panorama condo for 2 nights. The mountain views were amazing but the rest of the stay was miserable. We checked in at 10pm and were asked to wait a few minutes while they made sure the condo was cleaned that day, eventually they assured us that it had been cleaned and was ready. We drove the 25 minutes to the condo and upon walking in found the couch cushions half off the couch and throw pillows piled in a chair and on the floor. Upon fixing the couch cushions I noticed they had stains on them.
On entering the bedroom we saw the bed was not made and when I pulled back the comforter we found multiple dark hairs in the sheets and on the pillows.
I called down to the office at 10:30pm and was on hold for 30 minutes. When someone finally picked up I told her that all we wanted were clean linins which she assured was no problem and said they would "definitely be delivered within the hour". 12am rolls around and we hadn't heard from anyone, of course by this point the office was closed. We went ahead and tried to sleep on the couch which we lined with blankets we brought. The next morning one of the managers was very apologetic and compensated us for the night but the lack of sleep from the night before still kind of ruined the whole day. I will be sure to read reviews before booking somewhere next time, sounds like many people had it much worse than us.response / report this review -

I agree with previous reviews. Hit and miss. Positives: We were able to check in a little early. The cabin is beautiful and things are as described and shown on the web. The location is extremely close to tourist attractions and the national park. Negatives: The jacuzzi wouldn't heat up. The pool was full of branches and very small. The worker and road noise ruin the natural surroundings. Since we were only able to stay for 2 days this was kind of a bust for us.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Hawk's Peak cabin and LOVED IT!!! The cabin had an excellent view of the Smoky Mountains! The cabin was clean and looked exactly like the pictures on the website. We did not want to leave. The company had great customer service and was very pleasant. We checked in virtually so we went straight to the cabin, I love that (high recommended). CAUTION: If you're not used to mountains, be prepared to drive up and down steep hills. I am from the city and it was a little scary for me at first. Overall, this was a great experience and the cabin was beautiful! We will be visiting again!
