I love this place. It’s fun just looking at all of the amazing merchandise. My whole family loves this place and stops by every chance they can get. It was a treat to take the kids when they were younger. They would get so excited over everything. I love it too. Stop by and check them out. You probably won’t leave empty handed. Definitely big. Honestly most of the knives are trash but there were a surprising amount of quality pieces. The guns were all in great condition and the employees were very nice and knowledgeable about them. They have every sharp object you could think of and a few I was surprised to see. The relic room was a very interesting area and I'm glad I took the time to check it out.

Great selection of just about any type and brand of knife that you could want. For the majority of my visits, the customer service has been great, but you might get a few people who aren't the best (friendly or helpful), but the vast majority have been great. I highly recommend checking them out if you are passing thorough the area, and even if you are a local (who doesn't want to say they have been to the world's largest knife store?).

To walk around and look at the stuff in the store is great. There is a Game of Thrones throne and a sword I got a picture with. There are so many interesting things in the store. But when my husband wanted to look at a knife behind the glass, there was a long wait for a salesperson to get the knife out. So long in fact we left. So for a free tourist site, it was great. But to actually buy a knife or even look out one out of the showcase, no luck. I don't know how the place stays in business. It was crowded but not at the registers.

One of my favorite places to go. If you are looking for cutlery, or self defense firearms of any kind this is the spot. They have a great selection of kitchen and home goods for the ladies as well. The artifact room is really interesting they have big selection of historical items as well as fossil and rock and mineral items.

Spent a week camping at Elkmont in the summer of 2016 and tried a few restaurants and visited a few places in the towns in the area. By far, I enjoyed Smoky Mountain Knife Works the best. They sell all kinds of things. I looked at the knives and guns but was really hunting for cheap souvenirs. This place has something neat for any price point

Large variety of edged items, quality ranges from excellent down to good. Pretty much, if it has an edge, you can find it here. Also, if it has an edge, you can find the right tools to sharpen it here. Need a two-handed broadsword, a Samuri sword, a simple pocket knife, kitchen cutlery, or scissors? All that and more can be found here!
Also a nice, if smaller than most guns-only stores, selection of handguns and accessories.
Traffic there can be tough - remember that it is in a "Tourist Destination" area. But, if you're in the area already, it's a fun place to spend some time browsing.response / report this review -

Pretty cool store. I was impressed with the variety of things for sale. There is much more than just knives. Really anyone can find something worth having here. I would have liked to have spent more time here but family was ready to go home

I've been here twice and still haven't gotten through the whole place. Plan on spending an hour at least. It's an awesome place to browse. Prices on trinkets are fair and prices on knives are great! Any knife you might need or want you will find here. The staff is very helpful.

If you enjoy knives or other edged tools there is no better store to check out than Smoky Mountain Knife Works. They offer the largest and varied selection I have seen in any bricks and mortar store.
I have been visiting the store since I was a child and a lot of the employees are the same folks. So typically this means the individuals working the displays are enthusiastic about their job and appear to be knowledgeable. With their varied collection it is possible to find everything from your child's first Swiss Army Knife to a fine chef's knife for your mother.response / report this review -

If you love knives This place is practically mecca I've never seen so much steel and rednecks in my life and it was all good. I opted to purchase a $10 pocket knife for cutting stuff like boxes and well Stuff. Most of the stuff I really loved was $100 plus for a small pocket knife. I don't know why it cost that much but I'm sure there was a reason. Because this place was up scale and what I would assume to be top brands where set up in extravagant booths. Very impressive.

This is a very big store with a little of everything for everyone. I enjoyed walking though all the sections. It is definitely more than knives. Men, show your spouses, they will like it too. For the PF area, free browsing to kill a little time before or after you daily vacation fun. The staff was very polite, and helpful.

This place has so much to choose from, and many interesting items. You can get lost in this place so remember what for you came in! They had guns, many knives, hunting supplies, fun signs for posting, kids toys, old and new items. Rocks off all kinds, clothes, hats. It is hard to put everything on here that they had you just have to go in and see and you will be totally amazed at what is around it is arranged so cleverly.

It is the ultimate vacation destination. If it's a knife you're looking for they have millions of them I've never seen so many knives in my entire life. I don't go there to shop for knives I go down to the Relic room on the lower level and buy all kinds of unique and one-of-a-kind items. They owner travels all over the world buying Exquisite and unique Antiques and artifacts
