Great place to stay. Great view, staff, room and the bed was so nice every time I laid down I wanted to nap. Didn't care much for the parking. But other than that perfect, would definitely stay here again. Location to attractions perfect also ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I LOVED this place. Yes it is super outdated, but hey the 80s are making a comeback right?? HA! It is SO convenient and affordable to stay here. The staff were super accommodating. There is complimentary breakfast, and its really good too! You just have to walk to their sister location behind Rocky Waters. When my boyfriend and I stayed last year we had the suite with the Jacuzzi tub, we LOVED it. WE loved the balcony over looking the creek. Honestly, it was an over all wonderful experience. Everything in downtown Gatlinburg was in walking distance. We are leaving this weekend to go back to Gatlinburg, and we're staying here again!!

Update 11.19.17: I’m so mad right now I can spit fire. My parents just arrived for their seven day stay here, and when we called to book the lady told us we had a room with 2 queen beds and a fire place, my parents get there and the rude man at the front desk tells them that they don’t even have queen beds there. We think maybe they booked it at days inn, but nope no reservation there either. So we try to get two king size rooms they want to charge us out the ass for a second room after they’ve already screwed our reservations once. Not once did they mention anything about a customer service and give us a discount for screwing us the man working the front was just extremely rude.

As some of the other reviews stated, the decor/style of the place is "dated". Very much a 70/80's style to the place. However, don't let that discourage you from staying here.
We stayed in one of the rooms on the 2nd floor and had no complaints. Wonderful view of the mountain side and the creek behind the hotel. The room we stayed in had a jacuzzi in it and it shared the same view of the woods.
The place is within walking distance of downtown Gatlinburg. There's a gas station across the street. As long as you don't mind the decorum (which really is no big deal), this place was perfect for visiting Gatlinburg!

My husband and I stayed here for a get-a-way
The view of the river from the back was really beautiful. The staff was friendly and it is only a little bit of a walk to the Ripleys museum. Its close to Hillbilly Golf and the Rowdy Bear Mountain Coaster. Close enough to everything, but far enough away that you wont be in the middle of traffic when you leave.

If you have no other place to stayI still would not stay here again. Asked for room on bottom floorhad to climb steep ramp to get to room. Once inside, rooms were in bad need of updates. Sofa had questionable stains as well as the chair. Air conditioning unit had not been cleaned in a long time. As a result became sick with allergies..spent as much time out of the room in the car as possible. Had a wonderful view of river, but couldn't enjoy due to all the he traffic noise. If you are a water, you could get breakfast down the street. Never could connect to WiFi. For your moneystay somewhere else.

We've been staying at Rocky Waters for several years and have always had a great experience. Dan is always super nice and accommodating. We always stay in the Jacuzzi rooms Rm 114 or Rm 115. Love it!!

Nice, clean, comfortable beds, small refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot. The front desk was Very Nice and accommodating. We had an emergency at home and had to turn around and leave next morning. They were very understanding and we did not have to pay for our remaining days or any additional fees. Quiet room and loved the creek view and sounds.

The word that comes to mind is RELAXING. Visiting the area was a pleasure, you a short walk or trolley ride from the area shops. You have a private balcony to take it all in.

Overall it has been a good experience. You are on the trolley line and the view is beautiful and relaxing. It is clean and somewhat comfortable but pool is not open and the breakfast is at the Days in next door also you have to piggyback on Days inns wifi which is spotty but for the price it is not bad just keep the cons in mind

Great for the price. Book early though for the best price. Private balcony is nice and the free breakfast is at Days Inn. Better than basic accommodations and right on the strip with covered, assigned parking. We will stay again, but this time we will get one of the jacuzzi suites. Opening the windows to listen to the creek at night was really peaceful, and the bed was comfortable. Water also gets very hot. Overall I would definitely recommend this place. It also definitely has the rustic mountain feel, so if you want something more luxurious then stay elsewhere. Great location!
