The only thing good about this place is it's location. In the heart of downtown Gatlinburg. Suitable for walking everywhere.
Everything else is bad. Services, furniture, condition of rooms, especially if u are going around Christmas time. They r severely understaffed.
Heads up, their toilets clog very easily.

I have stayed at many DaysInn locations before this. This place has the potential to become a great place. The staff here is helpful but super over-worked. Brittany helped us clear the toilet that was clogged on the second day. Apparently, the management seems to know all the problems but are not willing to invest and fix things. They are just milking the fact that their location is nice and the price with breakfast included is hard to beat.

There were no bed bugs. The sofa/couch (only one in a so-called double-queen suite) had cigarette burns and is really old. The rooms are old but OK. Beds and pillows are nice but the pillows are too high so bring one if you have neck/back problems. The wash-basin was clogged and nobody help fix it. I used my car key to removed the metal drain stopper (don't know what it is called) so water could flow. The next day the toilet got clogged and we had to live with it for the entire day (It was Christmas day and there was only one person to look after the entire place). The management here should not charge people for the Christmas day if you cannot provide services on that day!! The bathroom is tiny and old and to top it off - the exhaust fan didn't work either!

There is a broken and dirty pool view (the rooms 229 and 230 and pretty much everyone in that complex)

Room was mediocre and very outdated. Work placed us in this hotel. The days inn at light 2 is WAYYYY nicer. The staff at this location is extremely unprofessional. We checked in fairly late, 3rd shift, and there were 3 ladies there behind the desk. One in street clothes, one eating right at the counter, and the 1 checking us in was entertaining her friends also. By the time i was done woth the process, there were 6 people in line waiting. Do yourself a favor.STAY AWAY!

Good price for the part of town they are in (only if you book in advance,) but definitely could use a deep cleaning. Don't expect anything close to fancy. I found the employees to be extremely nice and friendly.

Great location. Rooms are good but if you happen to get a room with the loft, beware the king bed needs to be replaced. There's a hole in the mattress closet to the bathroom. Not a literal hole. Mattress is worn out. Staff is friendly and helpful.

(10/12-10/15/17) We stayed at days inn and suites for Three nights and four days and had no problems yes the room is outdated, the curtains could be replaced they looked nasty, and the water pressure sucked but our room was clean and during our stay they did come give us clean linens take dirty ones, and make our bed! the staff was so nice and we were walking distance to everything so with all that being said I would definitely recommend this hotel and I would come back and stay again it was a reasonable price and to clear up another review saying they had bed bugs our room was 201 and we did not have bed bugs it was a great stay, thanks again to the staff!

Came here as last resort. It was good enough. Not as clean as I would like. No bed bugs. Needs updating and repair. Our door was about to fall off the hinges. Still better than the Chalet Inn Gatlinburg.

Room is ok. The shower handle is upside down. So you can't turn water up hot enough. Toilet tank is not mounted correctly. So can put the seat up without holding it up. Most of the electric outlets are loose. With a little of work the room could be better. Not sure if I will stay again.

Pretty much had to make your own breakfast. There was no daily newspaper. It was listed as two swimming pools and there was only one very small covered pool about three and a half feet deep all the way across and the other was drained and looked like work easy being done but we saw no worker's at all and we were there during the middle of the week! Overall the worst place we have ever stayed! DO NOT BOOK A RESERVATION HERE!

Really disappointed in this place. When we checked in the lady in the front was nice and went ahead and checked us in even tho we was like 4 hours early. Of course the have a outdoor and indoor pool. The outdoor pool was down and being fixed but it looked like it had been down a long time. The indoor people was really small and kinda gross the pump wasn't in the clean the pool that great. It was cloudy and really gross looking. The air conditioner in our room was broke but it still worked looked like someone and tried to knock it off of the wall. And it leaked the carpet under it was wet. They offered me a different room but I didn't take it because I figured I would get changed to even worse room. The curtains was nasty looked like they had been washed since the hotel had been built which I think was built and long time ago. The smell of the room was horrible it smelt like a person that had smoked in their home for 30 years and never really cleaned it. I was really disappointed in this place. Especially for the price we gave for it I would of thought it would have been cleaner and up to date with everything. Looks like they haven't changed anything since they built it. Needs updates bad. I only gave one star because don't have a choice to give zero.

It was absolutely disgusting! My gosh. First of all when I got there the lock fell off of the door and I have a 1 and 3 year old. Then the internet would not work at all and our TV was stuck on Fox news so my kids had absolutely nothing at all to watch It was so nasty I was afraid to go to sleep because I thought bed bugs would come out and crawl on us. I finally just got my family and left. We drove the two hours back home! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.. They need to put some serious money into this place. From the looks of it this place has not been nice in 20 years! Let's not forget about the elevator.. it was definitely sketchy. I thought it was not going to stop.. NEEDS TO BE CLOSED DOWN! Brittany was front desk clerk and she was wonderful SHE WAS THE BEST THING IN THE WHOLE HOTEL!

Because of all the reviews we was very unsure about the stay. When we walked in Brittany was very nice and friendly. after the first night in a stander size king room we just asked about the suit rooms and she upgraded us the last night That was very nice of her and we enjoyed the room. The Hotel is in a Great location minutes away from everything, our room was spacious, clean modern and comfortable. Now the appearance outside ( sign out front) needs upgrading and just a little TLC in the hallways. I enjoyed our stay here and when we come back to Gatlinburg TN we would stay again. 5/19/17

You get what you pay for. It has great curbside appeal. The rooms were relatively clean and had a few updates. There were holes in the walls in some places and something smeared on the doors. The staff was friendly. The overall inside appearance of the lobby, halls, and room were run down. Beware of the elevator: it's a little sketchy and definitely needs to be updated. No major complaints. We enjoyed our one-night stay.
