Good standard arena. Been going there for years. Not as expensive as newer places.

Nothing fancy but we enjoyed the performance. It's an older building and it shows. The seats have stains on them but they aren't horrible.

We went to see Disney On Ice, which was wonderful. The staff and parking was made so easy because they had plenty of people directing us where to go for both parking and finding our seats. Everything was very clean as well.

Decent facility. Could use some TLC. Looks like there was a roof leak at one point, as the ceiling in the auditorium is blackened in certain places. The acoustics are good, and the seats are comfortable enough.

Okay place to see a concert. Good acoustics in the auditorium. Seem to be a little understaffed. Get your drink on early as they shutdown before the main show.

Great venue for lots of different events. Nice sound for shows. I've also attended outdoor festivals on the lawn. They're ok, but for that, I prefer he World Fair Lawn. Huge parking garage across the street.

Great place for a large venue. Just went there for a three day assembly for Jehovah's witnesses. Encouraging instruction and a comfortable facility. Would go back again.

Very nice place. We spent the last 3days there for the "Don't give up" Regional convention of Jehovah's Witnesses. Thank you Jehovah for the spiritual banquet, you always satisfy to the grandest degree. You always know what we need.

The building layout is simple enough. Getting from the top to the bottom is much easier than some other places. It was clean and the sound quality was great.

Convenient parking and easily accessible facilities in historic downtown Knoxville. A wide variety of entertainment appears in this venue, from theatrical to musical to sporting events, and many high schools hold thier proms here. I saw my first KSO concert here, as a high school senior in 1978, right after my prom.

But if you want real entertainment, just drive by some night during a hockey game or country music concert. The people watching is EPIC.

I recently went to the Civic Auditorium to see a wrestling event. I hadn't been here in years as I live in Nashville. The first thing I noticed was that people who were coming for wrestling were required to walk completely around the building instead of entering the front entrance. This wasn't an issue early in the evening, but it became an issue when the show got out and there was a torrential downpour. Staff kept us inside but encouraged us to go out when it was still lightening because they wanted to clean.

The venue is intimate but not set up for an event where people stand. Ushers were confused about seating, seated people in the middle of matches which blocked views every five minutes or so. There were not many bathroom stalls and I saw none that were wheelchair accessible.

The wheelchair accessibility was a major issue. People who couldn't fit into their chairs on the balcony were not offered a metal chair despite there being plenty of places on the balcony where space was available. Security was there but did not mediate the crowd when people would go into the aisles and blocking the view of others. A group of four in the third row stood for 3 hours taping (copyright infringement) while the six rows behind them craned necks to see as did the 8 rows to their right. Ushers were useless.

My biggest issue was that there were two kids in wheelchairs which they placed 12 rows back. Every time thoughtless people stood in the middle of matches these kids couldn't see. Manners aren't the responsibility of the venue but if they don't put up signs or video wall requests to please not block the view of others, they share in the thoughtlessness of the crowd.

I loved the show and the intimacy of the venue. I didn't love missing half the show because of I'll educated ushers and lack of accessibility. I don't believe I will be back.
