We love coming to this Sleep Inn. It was decorated very nicely for the Thanksgiving holiday and the overall decor of the hotel is very nice. I love that they take the time to decorate for the holidays and seasons. My children consider this Sleep Inn their home away from home as we have been coming to this one for the last 16 years. The breakfast buffet is a huge draw for my childrenwaffles, bacon, eggs, sausage and biscuitssomething for everyone! Lots of updates to the facility and the staff was very helpful in suggesting an alternative for our Thanksgiving dinner when our plans had to change at the last minute. Absolutely love coming to this particular Sleep Inn whenever we are up visiting the grandparents.

Clean rooms. Good free breakfast. They charge for in room safe usage. Big turn off for me. Overall nice hotel to stay at.

No sound proofing what so ever. We're kept awake until 3am both nights of our stay due to other guests who were talking at a normal volume many rooms away, and no way to run fan on HVAC units to drown noise, unless you turn up/down heat. Shower heads caused almost no water flow, which caused issues for wife and kids to wash hair. Continental breakfast was above average, but overall not worth the price we paid per night. Won't stay again.

We'll keep coming back. Good price for the area. Comfy, clean bed and room. Pool and lobby nice. Staff very friendly. Basic hotel breakfast but nicely kept fresh and clean. Definitely good choice.

Amazing staff, very friendly and helpful. Rooms are pretty nice. But they had the best price in the area and is just as nice as any of the others. Great breakfast options!

Great location the lady at the front desk couldn't have been nicer. Nice little pizza joint next door that she told us about was perfect. Pool and spa was nice. My granddaughter wanted me to mention the view of the lake in the sunset across the street.

Comfy rooms. Very friendly staff and very helpful prompt and courteous service. Roof is thin so upstairs neighbors keep you awake, as can noise from the hallways. The "gym" is a small room with cardio machines (one Treadmill, elliptical and bike). The spa / jacuzzi for guests is a good feature. The pool is adequately heated and clean. Breakfast is the same everyday with only sweet bread based options and no protein for vegetarians.

My siblings and I stayed here recently with our elderly, mobility impaired mother. We had a room with two queen beds, but the bathroom was hard for our mother to navigate. The night clerk, Mr. Gilligan, went out of his way to help us. He brought up some items to make the bathroom more accessible and comfortable for her. He went above and beyond! He also laid out some freshly baked chocolate chip cookies for us! Wonderful!

Everyone one exceptionally kibd, very helpful and understanding. They went above and beyond. I would definitely recommend this place to others. I hopefully will be able to stay there again in the future.

Located on Traverse City's quieter East Bay, in the suburb/ village of Acme, this motel is well-apponted, clean, quiet and a good home base for travelers making day trips to Torch Lake, Charlevoix, etc.but also not a bad drive to downtown Traverse City. We have found the staff super- friendly. Pet- friendly, with plenty of space to walk the dog.

One of the better Sleep Inn locations I've been to.. The beds were quite comfy, the Internet connectivity worked, and everything was clean. The town (and almost the entire region) does kind of "shut down" at 10 PM so for us overnight workers, it is a bit rough. All in all, it's a great place.

You can't beat the quality of this hotel at this price point. The beds were comfortable, adequate sized bathroom, and very friendly service from the girls at the front desk. It's not a high-priced luxury hotel, but everything was simple and clean. The pool was warm and the hot tub was great! Decent selection at breakfast, as well! We'll be back to this hotel again, I'm sure!

The rooms appear somewhat rundown and dated on the inside. Some other guess were saying their rooms are pretty nice. Makes me wonder if part of the hotel has been updated and the other part has not.
The beds were comfortable. The staff was very pleasant.
I was "accidentally" charged twice. I called the hotel staff and they were quick to reverse one of the charges on my credit card.
Overall the experience was not horrible but next time I would look for a different hotel before staying here again.response / report this review
