Hotel was clean. Friendly staff. Very basic breakfast. Would stay again if needed but I would prefer a few other hotels first. Overall I did not regret my stay.

Room was clean and comfortable, staff was nice. Hot tub jets are a little intense (no adjustable setting, just on/off) and continental breakfast was a bit minimal but okay

Clean. Big shower with adjustable shower head. Comfortable bed. Three pillows. Very nice and friendly staff. Updated. Exterior entry door but we don't mind that. Good TV. Beverage frig. Traffic sounds were VERY muted. I'll say clean again because that's huge. Windows didn't open which was a bummer but the new AC worked well and was quiet so it worked. For sixty bucks, it was perfect.

Last minute trip to Traverse City and it was by far the cheapest. Called ahead to see if we could check in one hour early, and the lady answered the phone with "hello" like we were bothering her. I thought we had the wrong number so I called back. Yep. Same thing. I get it though, but we all have rough days. Hotel was okay. When someone is in the shower, you can only get hot water from the sink. Even later, there's no such thing as cold water here. Bed was comfortable. But air conditioning didn't work, we informed staff twice and both times they said yeah you probably turned it down too low and broke it but I'll have someone look at it and nobody ever did on top of accusing us of breaking the ac unit. They also said my card I used to pay for it suddenly is declined, and wanted another card so we switched it into my girlfriends name and card. Today I see the transaction went though but they canceled it for whatever reason. Not horrible, but won't be staying here again

Decent hotel for the price. My friends and I stayed here after doing a wine tour on the peninsula. The rooms were clean and updated, and the pool is heated. The overnight front desk worker was super helpful. Would stay again.

A great hotel for an amazing price. The hotel is within a mile of downtown so you can walk if you want. The free WiFi and complimentary breakfast were a plus. The walls were a little thin and it is motel style where doors open to the parking lot not a hallway. This did not ruin the experience or beat the price. They also had a AAA discount so book through them not another site.

Complimentary breakfast in the morning, nothing extravagant but it gets the job done. Room was clean, roomy. Lobby was very nice.

Upon entering our room, we immediately noticed the chain lock was missing from our room. Then there was no microwave. The floor creaked extremely loud whenever we walked around. The bed was extremely hard. We finally decided to turn the tv on, the tv was not working. The gentleman that came to help told us the whole hotel was like that. He called us a little later saying it was just a few rooms. After about an hour, they finally got the tv working. Breakfast was cereal and donuts, very disappointing. After making the decision to check out and not stay another night, we were told they are going to charge us for the 2nd night because they require a 24 hour notice for a cancellation. We weren't even in the room for 12 hours.

I travel all around the word and I stayed in this hotel for business purpose and I would say this is the best hotel I ever stayed at in my life! I was extremely surprised when I saw the room. The staff were extremely friendly.

A non-smoking friend and his girlfriend recently stayed here for a birthday celebration and were surprised when they returned home with a $250 smoking charge. THEY DON"T SMOKE. They tried to dispute the charge with the managers, after several failed attempt calls, they finally heard back and were told there is nothing they can do. While they were around several bon fires during the craft beer festival, they did not smoke in the room. I guess you're guilty until proven innocent. At Howard Johnson of Traverse City anyway.
