The Lake 'N Pines Lodge has been a wonderful experience. The setting is gorgeous! Right on the lake with beautiful state forest all around. Dave and Melanie are extremely accommodating. They provide for any and all needs a guest might have. Daily 'pick your own' breakfast menus, which they will deliver right to your door, an outdoor Jacuzzi, a large movie collection to borrow from, and a small fleet of boats to take out on the lake. They even provide fishing poles and some basic tackle upon request, no charge! I caught my first bass while staying in the cozy 'Angler's Nook'! All in all the amenities, service, price, and location (only 20 mins from Traverse City, and 40 mins from Old Mission Peninsula where many great wineries are) make the Lake 'N Pines Lodge a wonderful place to stay. My wife and I loved our stay. We will definitely be coming back. Might even make it an annual stop!
Awesome place to stay! Dave made us a made to order breakfast each day, the view was beautiful and there are so many things to see and do around the area. I would definitely come and stay again!
This is by far the best bed and breakfast my wife and I have ever stayed at.
Just spent a week for our honeymoon here and it was phenomenal! Breakfast was awesome, the view was great and Dave was wonderful to meet! Highly recommend staying here!
Amazing rooms, service from the owners, breakfasts, and overall experience. I spent my honeymoon with them and now my 2nd year anniversary.
Been here for our honeymoon and 5 year anniversary and had great experiences both time. Gorgeous location with great service.
Absolutely love staying here. Beautiful location, lodging, the owners are extremely friendly & helpful. Worth the 5 hour drive-time, everytime!
My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon for 3 days at this resort it was a wonderful experience we had the bay chalet room that comes with your own personal sauna, two person Jacuzzi and double shower on top of all this our host Dave went out of his way to make us feel as comfortable as possible. The breakfast were delightful and the scenery was breathtaking not to mention that we were only 15 minutes away from downtown Traverse City. I would highly recommend this place to anybody who's looking to be off the beaten path and to find a hidden little gem were you won't get the regular resort experience but the experience of a lifetime we will definitely be returning.
Hidden gem! My husband and I booked the Bay Chalet for our 3 night honeymoon. We didn't want the typical resort experience and couldn't have been happier with our choice. We upgraded to the honeymoon package and owner Dave personally made the chocolate truffles, strawberries, and breakfast, which was delivered to our door each morning made to order. Aside from the great amenities (full size jacuzzi, sauna, fireplace, double shower, etc.), Dave went out of his way to make sure we were happy with our stay. If you are looking for a private, romantic, Bed & Breakfast, this is your place! We were able to make it into downtown Traverse City in about 15 minutes also! We can't wait to go back! :)
