For being a little ski resort it wasn't too bad the season is just slow for snow.. with more I'm sure it would have been alot better not very crowded at all on the weekend.. was nice

Perfect family ski slope. The goal was to get my son skiing and their incredible staff did the trick with their extremely reasonably priced all day lessons!

My friends and I took a private snowboarding class today and our instructor Elle is the best. She is knowledgeable, patient and professional. Since my friend learns a little slow, Elle took time to hold her and help her balance and take small steps at a time. All the staff are very friendly and helpful, from ticket window, checkin, rental, ride up belt operator, they are smiling all the time. Overall, wonderful experience and will definitely recommend to friends and family.

Super small "local" mountain. Good vibe but you'll be done with it by noon. Cute little tavern, good eats. The tubing at the bottom of the parking lot is fun for the kids.

Ski Cooper is a jewel. It isn't the biggest or steepest or longest. It IS, however, a landmark in skiing history. It was a training area for the famed 10th Mountain Division during WWII. Many of those soldiers went on to found other ski areas and develop ski products, contributing to the rich ski heritage that we enjoy in Colorado. A first rate ski school, an active competition department and fine natural snow are just some of the reasons to visit this locally owned and operated testament to the power of skiing to add life to our lives.

Best family ski area and a Local favorite! Affordable and rarely have to wait in a lift line. Bar is cozy and warm. Don't expect a resort! This is a simple ski lodge with a historic past. Very family friendly but also popular with singles and young people.

Wow. And I mean wow! This has been my absolute favorite Colorado ski resort ever. I'm an intermediate and I often find the bigger places are a little too crowded and don't have the best green runs. The powder was soft. The lift lines took a minute on average. It was awesome. Now, a few cons (if you can call them that): The lifts are ***slow***. Now, because you aren't waiting it kind of evens out. And the runs are pretty long. It didn't bother me at all. Also, what they call greens are super easy, and the blues could be called greens. I didn't try any blacks but from what I could tell those looked more like blues. If you're looking for tough terrain I hear there is a pretty neat back bowl you can get to with the ridge cats.

Came here as a family and had two kids who had never skied before. It was perfect. We had such a good time and didn't have to stress about spending SO much money like at the mega resorts. Lift tickets are about $50 for adults and $30 for kids. They also have two for one deals so call and ask. The staff is super friendly! We never waited in line once and had fresh powder and open slopes. Got the kids into ski school which was very good and affordable. They were skiing by the end of the day. The views are wonderful and the slopes were very open. This is skiing the way it once was. I could not recommend this more highly. Just don't bring too many people and ruin it for the rest of us ;)!

Monarch was turning people away after getting a bunch of fresh powder and being overcrowded so we ended up coming here. I had a blast! It wasn't jam-packed with people and the conditions were great. It was a good opportunity for brushing up on my snowboarding technique. There's nothing pretentious about this place-just good clean fun.
