The staff have been absolutely amazing; they are so genuine and kind. The view is unbelievable. The bed feels like sleeping on a could. The romance package combined with the king jacuzzi suite has blown us away. HIGHLY recommend.
Great beer and tasty treats. Go here for good times during the week or on weekends. Happy hour 4-6 most days but get there early on Saturday. It gets busy. Bands sometimes and lots of fun local people. Drink specials and really good food. I will see you there. Jason, Joanne, and the rustic acre would love to see you there.
The place sits on the water front and is beautiful. We for a suite for 350.00 a night and for that price it could have been a bit more polished. For example the closet doors were falling off, one of the screen doors was broken, paint around the room needed touched up, and there weren't enough towels. The people were very nice though and the view is amazing!
Probably one of the nicest places in Estes Park, right on the lake with good views. Log cabin motif, with lots of real stuffed animals (not for the vegan or extreme animal lovernot in good taste) Rooms are a B or B- as international resorts go, but on par with Holiday Inn Express and other business class hotels. A few good veggie options on the menu and they make a pretty good top shelf margarita if you ask.
My husband and I joined friends for a lovely lunch here after a round of golf at the fun nearby Lake Estes 9-hole course. Service was good, not excellent but the food was good and when it got too breezy and cool out on the deck overlooking the lake, they reseated us inside with no problems. I would recommend trying it out good food and a lovely setting.
I've been coming here every year for the past six years for my Anniversary. I recommend the King Bed Jacuzzi fireplace Suite for your Anniversary. Be sure to order room service, The Waterfront Grille, makes some great dishes.
We didn't stay there but we wish we had. The bar has the best view (the only view we think) of the lake from a restaurant/bar. And Janice the bartender is excellent, although she works like a dog and refuses other's help, she's still good. We went there the first night and had a wonderful time, with a great duo playing, etc. After walking thru Estes Park downtown the next day, we decided to go back to the resort, since we didn't want to sit in a crowded restaurant/bar, without a view. And we did, and we're glad -THANKS..wonderful time, food, ambiance.
Breathtaking views, great atmosphere, friendly staff. This place has a modern style dripping with rustic flavor. The staff are very professional and polite, always willing to lend a hand or just a friendly greeting. The town itself is simply beautiful and the views from every part of the hotel just have to be experienced for yourself.
Overall the resort was very nice and the staff was helpful. However, our family was upset with several things. We were uninformed that our room did not include AC which made a warm night. The staff was able to find us a fan to put in the window which was nice. The pool was way too hot. We were told there was a hair dryer in the room but we needed to request one. Another slight bummer was that there was a busy road across from Estes lake which was slightly annoying. All in all a pretty good place.
The hotel has a fantastic location right beside the lake. Walk around the lake and in 30 mins you will be downtown. We had a drink at the bar and very good, staff very nice. 4 stars as $300 for a small room overlooking the car park was not good value. The rooms are small and sink in the bedroom not in the bathroom! We didn't spend much time in our room as not that bright or cheerful either.
Just spent the weekend at Estes Park Resort. The (2) Queen with Lakeside View was around $300 a night. The room is exceptionally small and the mattress was very uncomfortable for everyone!
Having the sink outside the bathroom was a nuisance for the people sleeping!
The food at the grill is expensive, but it is tasty and the service is exceptional.
The room was worth more like $90/a night. For what they charged, you definitely expect at least a comfortable mattress, a bigger room, and a sink inside the bathroom.
I will not be returning and you should seriously consider staying elsewhere unless you can stay here for under $100 bucks.
My wife and I went to two years ago. We spend holidays, I found the rooms to store and well equipped. Ola spark at this car, and lunch or dinner in the lodge for at least a month. Food service will not hesitate to bring along a friend.
My wife and I have been going to the Resort on a regular basis for the last two years. We have stayed at the resort and found the room to be well appointed and we'll kept. We drive the hour from our home to Estes Park at least once a month an always have either lunch or dinner at the lodge. The food and service are excellent and we don't hesitate to bring friends along.
