Great place and very beautiful. It does however tend to get windy and very cold at night. Camping spots are limited and tend to be very close to the road. Parking is very limited as well.

The Campground is technically closed from September-Spring but the gate is left open for some odd reason, that being said, on Nov. 4 we camped outside the Campground within a few hundred meters along Guanella pass road where there are lots of great campsites with fire rings, parking etc.. the vault toilets at the Guanella Pass parking lot were open.

As far as Campgrounds go, this is a good one. Fire rings exist, developed spaces, some signage and it's super easy to access. It's close to both the top of Guanella Pass and Georgetown. The only downside, is that during summer weekends, it WILL get noisy and rather busy. But, it is heavily forested.
    Recommended.

Great place to stay overnight when you're traveling! It has restrooms and drinking water, bench, table and fireplace. It's located on Guanella Pass the most scenic and picturesque road and summit I've been to so far!

AWESOME campground! Clean, beautifully maintained in a natural settings. Sites are spread out, good tent pads,. Our camp host Wendy from Indiana and her family were incredible. Above and beyond. Will definitely return.

Haven't camped here but drove through. Small area and you have to pay. Too cramped for me. Has restrooms and the campground host sells firewood. Nice location!

Camp sites are way too close to each other and campsite is right next to road that is busier than most freeways. This isn't the kind of camping I enjoy.

Even before the road opens you can find a flat spot to pitch a tent.

Great campground. Stayed on the Fourth of July and it was nice and quiet. Spot 18 is secluded.
