Stayed here from December 20th to December 24th. Here for hersey Christmas candy lane. Room was big and the beds were comfortable. Nicole was great at the front desk. A family friendly place. Rooms are very clean. If you have any issues with the room tell them and they are quick to respond to your request. Everyone there was great and treated you like family. Close to a lot of tbings. All in walking distance. We will definitely staying there again.

Originally rated 1 star, due to a monster flood light outside the window of our room, that was meant for the parking lot, but when looking out our window was tilted more towards the building (appears to aim more towards front door) which is understandable, but a simple dark out curtain for that particular room/window would mostly solved the preventable issue. Changed rating to 3 stars due to the fact management sought me out to to go over the issue. Also note, there is a lot of stairs ( throughout the complex. If you have any issues with knees ensure you get a lower floor. We also have a son with Cerebral Palsy and also found it difficult for him as well. (He does not require ADA accessible, but would have been good to know.). Room and bathroom is clean and motel is affordable.

Please note that I'm writing this review without having actually stayed at this motel. My mom and I were planning a road trip through PA and I thought this motel looked like a nice quaint stop along the road. I called them at one point to get an idea of what the rates were and they were very reasonable. Months later while actually on the trip, we get to Hershey to discover that there is some car show event in town. No surprise, most of the accommodations around town were booked up, and with no reservation, I figured I'd have to keep driving. But as it turns out, the Simmons still had a couple rooms, at $250 dollars a night! This is like a $60 or $70 a night kind of place. $250! I just couldn't believe the price gouging going on around this greedy little town. To be fair, it seems every other place of lodging was doing this too. It just goes to show you that places like these have no care for the weary traveler and instead only want to see how deep our wallets go.

Great place! I was surprised by how large the room was and the floral aesthetic was adorable. It was all comfortable and clean. The staff was kind. The location was near everything.

Simmons Motel was a wonderful experience. The bed was nice and the room was clean. Loved the amenities. A.C. smelled strange when we started it but after running it a few minutes smell cleared up, so most likely was just due to inactivity. Pool had a few bugs in it, but that's to be expected. We're looking forward to staying again!

For the price they charge, this motel is what you'd expect. Is it a top notch motel, no, but it's trying and was ok. It's cheap, so don't expect something great. The rooms are adequate, our bed was against one wall which made it hard for one of us to get into bed. Room has basic amenities (fridge, microwave, tv). bathroom is simple but adequate. The air con was very loud which was annoying (had to keep off at night). There was an ongoing water pipe noise through the night that was unfortunate and kept us up. Fix the two maintenance issues, and things would be fine.
We arrived a little late (6.30 or 7) and keys were left on front counter for us, no staff, though we'd called earlier and knew this would be the case. We then struggled to find our room which was annoying, the place can be a little confusing, but we got that sorted with help of staff over the phone.
Overall, it was fine for the night for the price we paid. staying longer, it could have been a problem.

Good place right in town. No frills but kept up really well for being old. Need somewhere cheaper to stay, stay here. Want nice amenities, go to Hershey Lodge

Has a grandma's house kind of feel. Well kept and staff wad helpful. They were willing to help us check in over 3 hours early and were very friendly throughout. Rooms are a bit small but if you're just spending the night it's no trouble.
