When we got to our room the bathroom was dirty. I didn't even unpack went the desk they upgraded our room which was a lot cleaner looked like the same room but just a little bigger. Very quiet. We missed breakfast because it was 630 am to 830 am. The cable goes out every 10 mins then you have to wait for tv to boot back up it's annoying. It was an ok place.

Usually, I find that places aren't as bad as the negative reviews some receive. The Harrisburg Clarion wasn't the worst hotel I've ever stayed in, but I won't be returning to it, should I happen through Harrisburg again. The good: the bed/bed sheets were clean and the gentleman at the front desk was friendly. The bad: The room was not clean (we found human hair in the corners of the bathroom). The room was generally, in a state of disrepair; cracks in the paint, amateurish finish & tile work (square, unsealed holes where the plumbing enters the bathroomtub drain was unseated and loose, etc.). I took a suitcase stand out of the closet and it was pitted and corroded, as if purchased from a junk shop. Stains on the hallway walls, a strong industrial cleaning agent smell in the hallway that made me wonder what exactly it was that required such a strong smelling cleaner. Overall, just not a professional standard that you expect from a national brand. This hotel, as other reviews have alluded to, is in desperate need of a complete overhaul. Come on, Clarion Inn & Suites of Harrisburg, you can do MUCH better than this.

Nice hotel with good service and comfortable room. I had a king size bed on the 1st floor. Good breakfast and a variety of choices I would stay here again

Very nice and comfortable. Large comfy beds. Breakfast was quite crowded and there was minimal seating (we did find chairs in the lobby but we couldn't get a table). The temperature was good and the hotel was quiet. Would recommend and would stay there again.

The staff were helpful and the beds were very comfortable. I rented a suite and was satisfied with the comforts provided. The room was not perfectly cleaned when we entered but it was satisfactory for what we paid.

Stayed here twice. Once on the way up to visit family and the roo.s were clean with comfortable beds and friendly staff. We ended up having a change if plans and stayed again on our way back. Will keep it on our list of places to stop. Also had the most delicious pizza I've had in a while delivered to our rooms (There were 7 of us on this trip), but since I didn't order or pay, I don't know the name.

The hotel was more than adequate for the money. Comfortable bed. Clean room. The breakfast was much more than I expected with a large assortment of options. Parking lot is a touch tight on the parking spot widths, but overall, well worth the money spent. And it's in a good location.

I traveled with my husband and our friend from Florida for about 20 hours, when we decided to stop at 11:30 at night to sleep at least a couple of hours and continue on the long-awaited vacation! Immediately at the reception I saw an elderly woman in glasses, which was unfriendly and did not even greet us. We rented a room with two beds, to which she began to laugh at us, and then rudely talk, say that we have to pay extra money, because there are three of us and she has never seen anything like this, hinting that we are some kind of perverts, at the time as we just wanted to sleep 4 hours and save money (we paid for this room 99.33$ with taxes) .. it's not so cheap !!! When I made her remark that she was rude and asked her to introduce herself -she refused and said that if we do not like something, then we can go to another hotel! I was shocked after what I heard! We had to sleep there, because we were very tired, but I will never go back there again and I do not advise others! The hotel administration think about who works for you and how they talk with potential clients !!! This woman is not capable of anything except insults !!!

The hotel was clean and the beds were nice. However the first room the air did not work and they moved us to another and that one didn't either. The room temp never got below 77. We were dressing for a party who h was hard with no air. If they fix the air the hotel will be ok

Just stayed 3/31/17. Fourth or Fifth time staying. Overall the hotel is nice. In my experience the rooms have been clean and the staff is friendly. No strange people hanging around, and I like that it's pretty close to different stores and highways. The breakfast is pretty decent also (Eggs, Bacon, Sausage, Pancakes, Waffles, Pastries, etc.) One issue that I think they can fix fast is the cleanliness of the breakfast seating area. Each time I've been there, the tables/chairs are kind of a mess from the people eating prior. There is 1 woman who appears to have to cook and maintain it all by herself. It's too much, and she needs help. I think most people would prefer a clean table to eat at. She does wipe the table for you if you ask. But for the most part, it is a good place to stay.
