Terrible. The room we booked had plumbing issues for three days before we got there and they didn't inform us. The bathroom was not clean when we checked in and someone didn't come till a half hour later. I really don't like to complain but I suggest going to a different hotel. Plus side the pool was very nice
Pretty basic Quality Inn. We paid $87/night for 2 beds at peak summer travel. It's right off the freeway but you get what you pay for. Hotel is dated but a good value.
My room was clean, although it was a basic hotel. Nothing spectacular. Plenty of parking. Pool was open but I did not swim. Breakfast included. Eggs and sausage links looked average so I just stuck with a banana. The Morrocan woman at the front desk was very sweet! I would make a return visit if I'm in the area again.
I gave only 2 stars because my first impression when i walked into the lobby was that i was in an Indian restaurant the smell was very strong, not that i do not like Indian food but..you get it ! I had ask for a smoke free room and i when i went in it smelled very much like stale smoke. Also when they gave me another room it smelled very damp and musty. I went and bought a can of Lysol . I also noticed the bottom sheet had stains on it!. I then complained again and they promptly came and changed the sheets. The staff was very nice but i would not recommend staying there.
Easy to get to from highway. Not far from Harrisburg and Hershey. Lobby and rooms were dark. Pool concrete was crumbly and bits were in pool. Room was musty and could still smell old smoke. Bathroom ceiling had growth on it. Toilet pressure was inconsistent. Sink faucet was installed backwards, and was hard to keep completely off. On a positive note, the beds and pillows were clean and comfortable. So, while it was a fine one-night stay, this old building needs a once over.
Clean room, very clean bathroom, very polite staff. Good breakfast. We enjoyed.
Was great. Room was super cold and took the heater awhile to warm up
If I could give no stars I would. This place is so nasty and dirty. Dont come here spend your money somewhere else. Trash behind stands. Cobwebs everywhere. Bathroom is so small. Lamps are ripped and not working. This place will never see me or my family again.
This place serves its purpose as a place to lay one's head for a night. Nothing fancy.
The king size room had a decently sized fridge and a dated, dirty microwave and coffee maker. The TV was updated and had decent programming. The AC worked well and the bed and pillows were comfortable enough. There were a couple of stains in the bathtub, the toilet paper was not filled, and the toilet had a few defects. The bathroom was usable, but needed some care.
Breakfast was mediocre. The dining room is in the same room as the check-in counter, no privacy or separation. The waffle maker and the sausage were the best hot food items. The eggs were shaped into patties and clearly made from some material other than just eggs. They also had muffins, English muffins, bread, cereal, yogurt, and juice.
Ultimately, I felt the rate we got was acceptable, but a bit high considering that the housekeeping could have been better in the rooms, and that some of the food was a bit lacking.
I give it 3/5 stars, as I would rate this at about 60% satisfaction.
There's nothing quality about this Quality Inn hotel. The hotel needs to undergo major renovations to bring it up to standards. Don’t let the online pictures fool you. This hotel isn't a motel but it's sure run like one. The room we got smelled like wet gym socks and ashtray. Yes, it was a nonsmoking room or at least labeled as such. It was probably about 90 degrees when we first walked into the room--the AC was turned off. We turned the AC on and I have to say that it is one of the noisiest window unit I've ever come across. Unfortunately we had to keep the AC running to keep the room cool but sleeping in this noise was a challenge and a half. The bathroom floor was disgusting at best. It needs to be re-grouted or at least cleaned with bleach. We stayed in room 205; feel free to go check it out for yourself! Our room door did not lock so a room key really wasn't even necessary. When we told housekeeping about it, her reaction, or the lack thereof, suggested that they already knew about it. The elevator down button from the second floor did not work so we kept having to use the up button to call the elevator. To save on energy bills, they have literally everything on motion sensing plugs in the room including the microwave and refrigerator. We had food spoil in the hot fridge. Housekeeping started knocking on our door starting 9am to vacate the place even though their check out time is 12 noon. She did this twice by 10:30am. Overall, this was one of our worst hotel experiences ever--especially for the price we paid. We will never again consider staying at this hotel. Quite frankly, I think this place needs to immediately undergo an internal audit by Quality Inn Corp!!
