After booking a room here, I was surprised at the low fare. However, when checking in I had to wait over 40 minutes because there was no one at the front desk. I thought this was preposterous and hopefully this isn't business as usual. Once in the room, everything was normal, clean, and worth the price. Bed was a little soft for my liking but it got the job done. Overall, aside from the checking in fiasco, the inn was decent and I would consider staying here again if I had to.
Ok price. Room was standard 2 bed. Room was clean. Area ok. Located near highway/shopping plaza for easy commute.
I stayed for a few nights and it was ok. Decided to stay for one more night and my car was broken into. Apparently it happens often enough to be a concern. Both the police officer and the glass place I went to said it was a frequent problem. Obviously who ever it was wanted money or credit cards. No cameras or security on premises.
The price was right and cleaning lady was very nice and polite. Otherwise, I would not recommend this hotel. My door would not lock, fridge, TV etc were all non- operable and most importantly the entire second floor reeked of weed. Traveling with kids? Don't stay here!
Excellent choice for an overnight stay while visiting Hershey. Front desk was very nice. The room was clean and comfortable. Bathroom was clean. Bed and sheets were clean. Air conditioner worked well. No complaints. Also short drive to Hershey.
Good location not far from the Hershey attractions, also short distance from PA Turnpike. We stay here every time we are in the area, it's convenient, there are restaurants next door including pizza and gas station down the street. They do get busy but rooms are generally quiet. Pet friendly.
Needs a lot of work to be updated. Plus reception in the evening lacks social mannerism and etiquette. Walked in said hi. Response was "what do you want". I stated I have a reservation. Response was give me your ID..handed it over nicely and no response. After he finished he tosses it back lightly without a word. Mumbles something about initialling on the documents. Hands over keys and walks off without a word. Not the greatest hospitality service LOL
Friendly staff. Superb single room. Comfortable bed. Very clean. Excellent desk. Light switches and power outlets everywhere I could want them. Very hot water in the bathroom.
Microwave, fridge, etc. air conditioner worked well and was quiet. Room was near the stairs, but I hardly heard anything outside my own door. A+ to these folks.
Beds were comfy. Tub was not completely drained when we checked in. No frills.
Very rude staff, small beds, no hair dryer or fridge or anything in the room. We were disappointed. Ok place to sleep for just one night but do not recommend this place especially for the price we paid
We stayed here due to a vehicle breakdown on a Sunday and had to wait until Monday to even determine the problem. While the room was clean and pet friendly, the staff really wasn't helpful under the circumstances. I was in constant contact with the dealer where our vehicle was towed and when I explained the status, etc. to the hotel staff, they were very unwilling to work with us while waiting for our vehicle to be repaired on Monday.
Our stay at Red Roof Inn was very good. Our dogs are allowed, which is a major plus. Our room was clean and comfortable. Able to get a good night's sleep without interruptions or outside noise. Was conveniently located to areas to eat. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Booked a hotel room for a friend. The female staff member was very rude. She charged my card then informed me that there is a no smoking policy and if they detect smoke they will charge you $200. My friend doesn't smoke but if his girlfriend and him did that would be very inconvenient. I wish your policy was told to me before you charged me. I think they are very unprofessional there and the front desk staff need to be trained better.
