Stayed here this pass weekend and I'd stay there again. My first trip to San Monica, hotel close to restaurant, & San Monica Pier. Clean hotel and front desk very helpful. Had a great view from the room of San Monica Pier. Asked for extra towels from house cleaning and delivered quickly. I'd highly recommend this hotel.

When you give with no strings attached as an altruist, you receive good thoughts and appreciation back. This is how I feel about Shore hotel, due to the fact that they have FREE electric car charging in their garage. Very convenient for me, because it's literally right on my way to work from Venice. The staff are friendly - never make you feel like you are an inconvenience. The building is built sustainably and is a gold class.. and they offer free car charging for electric drivers. How can anyone say anything bad about Shore Hotel!

The room and experience was amazing. I've never met such pleasant staff. Upon check in we even received free champagne. I'd recommend Shore to all my friends.

I always have a great time at the Shore Hotel. The rooms are really clean, staff is friendly, and the location is great. I only wish they had some sort of loyalty program for frequent patrons. I stay here whenever I'm in town.

Amazing hotel with water view. Waking up with a crisp breeze as you gaze out upon the ocean is unforgettable. The misty mountains slope into the ocean both North and South. On top of this, the service is excellent and the room is always in pristine condition. Cannot go wrong with this hotel.

Shore hotel is a great place. The lobby is super clean and very modern. It's right across the street from the Santa Monica pier which means there is tons to do. Great bars and restaurants right next door. A+.

The Shore is in a great location in Santa Monica steps from the pier and shopping, restaurants. The room I stayed in was nice and comfortable, if a bit odd. The see through shower and bathroom was weird until I discovered the electric shade. Loved the mid-air styling, and even without an ocean view, my balcony was a nice place to sit and decompress.

I am still here and will be here for another week! I have stayed in many hotels but this fine hotel is very special! Let me start off with the "Green Hotel" aspect. I am a big believer in sustainability and this Hotel puts that right up there with the guest. From the hybrid elevators, to the solar heated pool, this place is GREEN! The staff goes above and beyond for us guests. Parking here is easy. The location is super central and perfect for someone who doesn't have a car or just wants to stay in Santa Monica/ Venice and stroll around.
Bed - super comfortable (even on a bad back that has been pretty bad lately)
Rooms- Good size for multiple people or nice and spacious for just one person.
Food- Delicious food either down by the pool or ordered to the room.
Overall this hotel is amazing and it feels nice staying somewhere, where they too care about what happens on the other end and behind the scenes.response / report this review -

This hotel is about one thing. LOCATION. The location is probably the best in the area. The rooms are super modern but small. We have a "Garden View" room and the garden is nice, but it is sad that further down the street all you see is dirty dumpsters from the back of some businesses. This is out of the control of this hotel, and I don't fault them for that, it is just sad that other places around the perimeter do not care. Back to this Hotel. Everything is top notch. All modern clean, and staff is friendly. The only reason that I can't give this a 5 star review is due to the additional unexpected costs. $40 a night to park. $15 per day to check in early with a few other amenities. When paying top dollar, I feel these should all be built in. Bring your own bar of soap(I always do because I have learned) The one provided is the size of a couple sugar cubes. Overall a great experience. If I knew it was like this.I don't think I would have rented a car. Everything is walking distance. So the car just added another $40 per day and we rarely used it. Would we stay here againYes.

This is an extremely nice hotel is the most popular and alive part of Santa Monica. Of all the hotels across from the ocean this is by far the nicest and possibly newest hotel on the avenue.
As an LA local this is my ideal location, I love being extremely close to everything and being able to walk to everything Santa Monica has to offer. For someone from out of town this location is a MUST. Specially if you get a room with ocean view you can pretty much peep out from your room what's going on at the pier and on ocean avenue.
The hotel is GORGEOUS. The lobby is beautiful, the rooms are really nice, the pool is incredible.
Hotel staff is extremely friendly and goes the extra step to make sure to help you.
The fact that they offer water bottles is so great. Every part of this hotels has complimentary water bottles which goes to show how much they truly care.
Again I have to reiterate that this location is extremely ideal. Your literally across the street from the beach and a 2 minute walk from the Santa Monica pier as well as tons of great places to drink.response / report this review -

It is a nice new hotel. It is very modern. The parking is like $40 a day and a couple other fees tacked on. The rooms are very comfortable but kind of small for the price. The staff are all very helpful and friendly and it is nice that the pool is heated.

You can't beat this location. Fantastic staff that will bend over backwards for you. Competitive pricing in a hot spot. How can I complain? Rooms have a modern flair, and it is a lot of fun to stay in a room with an ocean facing balcony. Tons of good food nearby, and right across from the pier. If (when) I come back to Santa Monica, I'll be staying at the Shore Hotel.
