  Beautiful hotel, clean luxurious room, friendly staff, safe neighborhood. The only hotelvparking, though, was valet, and a bit pricey. But there's a parking garage across the street for much cheaper, of you're willing to walk with your stuff from the car to the hotel.

  This hotel is nice. It is a little small, but there is a nice pool and a gym. There are a few amenities. It is cozy and in a good location.

  nice, clean, and convenient!
  Love the covered, off the main street, entry to the check in area. Valets are courteous and quick to help.
  
  Glad to see 3 elevators, so very little wait time to head to our room to relax.
  
  Room is clean, has a pleasant smell upon entry, and quiet. Especially loved the sturdy shower doors and heavy (not cheap) bath towels!

  Went here for a wedding. Beautiful interior. It felt like a good place to lounge. Food was catered by others.

  Very clean hotel, all staff are very nice. And parking is quick and easy with their valley service. Also....free cookies!

  Very good experience. Rooms are very nice and house keeping upkeeps them very well. Loved all the amenities...pool, hot tub, sauna, fitness centre. Such a short walk to the beach which was amazing as well. Overall an awesome experience.

  Seems nice too me, very clean, friendly staff. They have required valet parking. There are 8 Lyft cars 3 minutes away. The restaurant closes at 10pm, the lounge at 11pm. No coffee after 9pm. The bed is soft. The pull out sofa fits one adult. The hotel feels so clean and almost new. Breakfast arrived quickly and piping hot. Lovely. The food was tasty but the pizza was a little salty compared to franchise pizza. I'd give 5 stars for this 4 star hotel.

  The DoubleTree in Santa Monica, Ca. Is a great place to stay. It is very well located being close to everything. The Pier, 3rd st. , Beach, etc. It is expensive and the $39/day parking is very expensive.

  Visited for a reception at the Marquee Ballroom. Quite an extensive spread of food and beverages (non-alcoholic) with attentive staff. A bit of confusion on the cost of valet but eventually clarified as free ($12 picked up by hosts) with some gentle nudging by myself. Dropoff and pick up of valet car was smooth and easy.

  Room was ok. No views. About 1/2 mile to Pier and 3rd Street promenade. Decent pool,gym,and hot tub. Santa Monica has a lot of homeless characters that are pretty aggressive making it sort of scary at night. Santa Monica in general seems more run down than I remember it being when I used to visit quite often back in the 1998-2008 timeframe Rooms were clean and staff was very courteous

  Excellent service from the moment we arrived. Complimentary Valet parking, baggage and check in assistance were all offered upon arrival. The room was great. HHonors floor 8. Very clean, mini fridge, soft bed, and great amenities like outdoor pool and spa, workout room with sauna, and bar/lounge. They serve Starbucks ad well. Very relaxing and pampered stay. 5 stars!
