Atrocious customer service, staff are arrogant and defensive, first and last time ever walking in there! If you are not from AZ or live in AZ avoid this range at all costs.I'm saving you time and money. CZ Tactical in Tempe is much better and worth the drive!
The truth is I'm honestly a newbie when it comes to guns.
I go to Shooters World for the shooting range I purchase myself 2 revolvers 22 revolver and a 44 Special revolver and I definitely want to learn how to shoot I had an idea how to load a revolver. Honestly I still need more practice but I enjoy going to Shooter's World it helps me take stress off my life for a little while it's Marksmanship that you're learning
Shooter's World could have everything a shooter could possibly want all the parts and pieces anything you need not anymore. its changed a lot in the last 10 years since I was there last.. its just a another Shop with a range .its was the most Politically Incorrect place you could be but still very respectable when the big polar bear greet you when you walk in the door and you knew where you were at. Now just another generic sports shop.
The atmosphere is professional and the staff is relatively light hearted for a gun range assuming things are slow at the time. But If they are busy that all changes. They like to force you to share lanes whenever they can. On one of my visits they forced my 3 person group into a single lane all at once, and when you pay per person, by the hour, that just isn't reasonable at all. Also, crowding as many people as possible into a confined space where there are guns going off and kids running around isn't a particularly safe practice in my opinion. If things are slow then this doesn't happen as often, but still not really ideal.
Looking for a S&W 340pd. They had none. Not a very good selection of 1911s.
I expected a better verity from them.
I gave them 3 stars because I've been here before and it was better than this time but I wanted to give them a 1 star! It was HOT INSIDE! The thermostat by our rented lane/shooting stall said it 91° inside! It was 104° outside! It was too hot to truly enjoy yourself for more than an hour. I felt overcharged for the experience to sweat. We were dripping with sweat so much it was in our eyes while we were trying to aim! Probably won't go back!
Great ranges, been to this location and the Peoria one. Wait times are never bad and prices are legit. Not as good as outdoors, but then again it's not 118 degrees inside either
This was my first time at an indoor shooting range, and I gotta say that I was very impressed with this place. They have a large selection to choose from and the staff was great, friendly, and informative. I will definitely return and refer Shooters World to all my friends!
Friendly and knowledgeable staff!! Always there when you need them. Only saw one uncomfortable moment and it was handled with care and diffused immediately. Go there almost every weekend during summer. I feel safe and I have learned something very surprising about myself. I love shooting a shotgun!
A pleasant girl greeted me when I entered the establishment. She directed me to the firearms (they are not weapons unless they are misused offensively by evil people) dealers to answer my questions; then she departed to find the person who was holding an item for me, and soon returned with the gentleman and the part I sought to purchase. The sales staff behind the counter generously answered my questions and permitted me to handle all the firearms I asked to hold, and they did so without complaining even though I stated that I was window shopping that evening save for the item I came to buy.
They educated me about different firearms, answering questions about different stocks, barrels, sights, etc. The dealers are very knowledgeable about their trade. Tell them your requirements, and they can direct you to the product(s) that can meet your requirements.
Shooters' World employees behaved as expected.
Variety? This going concern is competitive with the chain stores, just on a smaller scale, so Shooter's World is a good locally owned alternative if you want to support small businesses and keep your money in Phoenix.
This is what I know about the establishment so far. I update my reviews with new experiences.
5 stars = makes customers kings and queens, or offers superior product(s); crushes competitors that offer similar service and product(s). 4 stars = provides something extra for customers, or offers better than average product(s). 3 stars = provides good service and good product(s). 2 stars = provides low quality customer service or product(s). 1 star = fails in customer service or product(s); you suck; please go out of business.
Economic prosperity increases when money comes into a city and state. Our economy remains stable when our money circulates within our city and state. Our economy sucks when our dollars go to other cities in other states. The key to economic growth is getting non-Arizona citizens to spend money in Arizona buy purchasing our goods and services. Exporting our goods brings money into our economy.
Remember, Cabela's headquarters is located in Sidney, Nebraska, so that is where your dollars go when you buy from them. Your money goes to Springfield, Missouri when you buy from Bass Pro Shops. Every dollar that leaves Phoenix, Arizona benefits the citizens of the state to which that dollar goes. Economic prosperity increases when money comes into a city and state.
Buy local. Manufacture what you can and export it to other places.
Support Shooter's World when you can afford to buy something there.
Just a little bit too crowded! Group of four people and over it's highly recommended for make a reservation! Bring your own equipment it will save you more money!
Awesome first time shooting experience the staff was really helpful. They helped me pick out a couple different Firearms to shoot at the range. the range was clean and the prices were Fair. we had a great time. in fact we're thinking of purchasing a family membership which gives you free range time can't say how great the staff was they were so helpful and friendly
Fist and last time customer!
Today my husband took his sons with him to purchase a firearm. What should have been a father son bonding experience turned out to be an unfortunate experience for them all. For my sons to witness the unfairness that his father endured by your staff is appalling. First of all my husband with the "tattoos" is a hard working family man and has never been in trouble with the law. Although, you know that now, after seeing his background come back clean. Your body art discrimination was felt as soon as they walked in the door. By the way, My husband has a reading disability. The rude employee assuming my son was giving answers to his father for the questions he needed to answer before his purchase, shouted "Hey, you can't give the answers to him!" needs to definitely learn how to speak to customers with a little more respect. Where is your empathy? Perhaps you should send all of your staff to a customer service training on how to treat customers fairly so that next time someone walks in to your business looking like my husband, they won't be treated as badly as he was.
A Positive Review for a Positive Indoor Range and for all your firearms needs.
Shout out to David, Jeremy, and the rest of the staff. Very friendly and knowledgeable. A very clean shop, best part I enjoyed was the range.
The range a very modern indoor range, it was clean and somewhat cool. Haven't found an indoor range that was a meat locker. Very nice range compared to the many I have been to around the country.
Very large variety of Pistols and Long Guns.
As far as prices, very competitive pricing with most major gun shops and small business owned shops. If your looking for lower prices, you might as well look online. I personally support the small business owners.
