The service is fast, and the employees cheerful. The food is off the charts good. Never had a bad meal here. And the seating area they have in the back is charming and has great ambiance. One of my favorite local spots.

This is one of two or three iconic fish taco places in San Diego. Nowhere to sit inside. Order your food outside at the window. Walk around the corner of the building into a shady, outdoor seating area. It's not on the menu, but order "The Nate." Be sure you're very hungry or order just one to share. Oh, and you don't expect good wine in a place like this. We ordered with a little trepidation, but they have some good wines. This is a "must stop" when you're in the area.

Stopped here to kill a couple of hours before heading to the airport on a quick business trip to the San Diego area, at the recommendation of my colleague. The food was excellent. It was way more than I expected--I would've ordered half as much if I'd known. And I especially enjoyed a few quiet moments relaxing in the courtyard before heading to the airport.

Awesome Pork belly app, so tender and the apple/cabbage slaw with it hits the spot. Very friendly staff. Sandwiches are very filling and delicious. We will be back.

Great food and fun patio! Awesome pork sandwiches and tacos. Decent beer selection, but not on tap. A bit pricey, but the quality is there for sure.

They only have a hand full of things you can order but everything is delicious!!!!! The tacos have triple the amount of meat as any taco you will ever order. Burgars ate so big you can share. Definitely coming back. All the drinks are made with sugar cane and not fructose corn syrup.

Yeah this was GOOD I saw them on the T.V 2 years ago and finally made it to San Diego to eat.

It was so worth the trip.

Parking is hard at this location, but make it work people.

The Soda machine has good flavors, and a proper mixture of syrup & carbonated water. I'm going to suggest that there water is filtered as well but I don't know that for a fact.

that Shirley Temple soda was very good. I thought I was in in soda heaven with the root beer until "Temple"

It was our first time in San Diego and we found this little maxican restaurant. We didn't know what to order and we asked them for recommendation. They recommended pork sandwich, steak sandwich, tacos. The special of the day was stuffed potato with pork belly. And those were what we ordered. They were all delicious. My favourite was the tacos. The chips were good too.

This is easily one of the best places in San Diego for a late night dinner experience. The food is extraordinary and the pleasent outdoor biergarten setting only added to the experience. The triple threat is my favorite sandwich, although there is nothing on the menu that I have not tried and thoroughly enjoyed. Worth the wait, though if you get there before 6:30 it's not too long of a line. Look for the giant pig on the roof.

Really miss this place now that I don't live there anymore. There's usually a line no matter what time of the day. Everyone orders standing on the side of the street. Must try the pork belly appetizer! The fries are good too.

They are always willing to make the food to how you'd prefer it. I am a picky eater, but their pork is some of the best! Their food will really fill you up, I couldn't even finish their tacos (2)! I highly recommend coming here. There isn't much of a wait time, so if you have a few minutes to spare Definitely swing by.

Unless you know it's there it is easy to pass on by. I found Carnitas snack shack by chance looking for somewhere else. With a line down to the corner in front of a random little building on university, you know it had to be good! And did not disappoint! Start with the triple threat or one of the mind bending vegetarian sides and you will be hooked. Great for a group or riding solo. You owe it to yourself to check it out!
