The rooms were nice size. I wish there wasn't a desk and chair in front of the window so you could see the view. We ordered room service late night and morning. And the food was so good. We will definitely be back sometime in the future
My hotel stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The room I was in, while not being updated with current technologies like Samsung TVs or desk with video inputs, was nice. Same way for the bathroom. It was fine but definitely felt a little dated I stayed here in December and the decorations were very nice and gave me a warm welcoming feeling! The staff were AMAZING! The convention area was great. The hotel is within walking distance to several popular restaurants so lots of good food choices!
We recently stayed at the Sheraton Grand in Phoenix and had a wonderful experience! The staff was absolutely wonderful! Our housekeeper, Rose, was extraordinary, and the restaurant (breakfast and dinner) was phenomenal! The staff in both the restaurant and hotel really care about your comfort and it is evident in the way they treat their guests. We are in Phoenix every year for a convention and stay in the Sheraton without question. We KNOW we will be well taken care of!
One of the best hotels. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We came for a conference and there were thousands of people wanting to go up and down the elevators but this hotel handled it smoothly, never waited more than a few minutes for the elevator. The cleaning service and bathroom products are high quality. They leave a free bottle of Dasani water every day.
This hotel is pretty nice. The staff is very friendly and professional. The rooms are very comfortable especially the beds. I have not eaten in the hotel but the bar is always full. There is also a Starbucks on the premises which is quite convenient. Across the street from the hotel is a food court so to speak which has a few restaurants including a Hooters, a movie theater with quite cheap ticket prices and great outdoor seating for those times when its not too hot. There are also a few other bars and restaurants within walking distance. This location is also very close to the convention center.
Overall a nice stay at the Sheraton Grand Phoenix. The staff was friendly, room was pleasant, and amenities as expected. The room was not as clean as I would expect for the price and reputation. It looked and feel like the carpets have not been cleaned in some time. Otherwise a very nice place to stay.
This hotel is very nice. The staff are friendly and curtious. They are willing to go above and beyond to make sure that your stay is a pleasant one. The rooms are well kept and pleasantly decorated. The hotel is conveniently located downtown near a lot of local things to do, including Chase Field! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Phoenix!
This property is beautiful!! Decor and ambience are high class and the lobby is full of stuff to do. It's right in the center of Downtown Phoenix within walking distance of all the downtown attractions. The arts district is literally a 5 to 10 min walk. Make sure to check out Phoenix First Fridays on the first Friday of each month!!
The Sheraton was such a great hotel! Staff was professional and accommodating. Our room was very clean in all areas. The lobby and event room was beautiful and very well maintained. The overall hotel was gorgeous and is in a great location in downtown Phoenix. I would definitely love to stay here again!
Nice hotel with plenty of meeting space and restaurant inside. I deducted one star because I saw a big, which looked like a roach crawling on the outside of my room door. I also elected to get points for "going green" which the card in the room says you won't get clean towels. What the card didn't say is it also means they don't come in to clean your room or make your bed either. They should make that more clear. It's not just going green.
I haven't stayed here, but we booked a small ballroom for a side conference event, and it was a mostly pleasant experience. They had visible signs for the event and the people were all great. The soda bar we had was rather pricy ($4 for a can of soda for example seems like a steep markup to me). Since that was hardly the purpose of our event, I would say it was an overall very positive experience. The lobby is a nice area as well, and the hotel is a very easy walk to the convention center and some food.
Hotel is within walking distance of movie theatre and restaurants. Conference facilities were very nice and staff are polite. Rooms are typical of this class of hotel. It is quiet at night so no problem getting a good night's sleep.
Overall great experience. Bartenders were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Staff at front desk made check in at a late hour painless. Rooms were clean and well stocked. However, parking is paid, $20 for overnight.
Really nice beds, rooms and views. The fitness center is above what you would expect at a hotel and the pool/hot tub area is top notch. Four stars because of the elevators. Seriously. They have this key card verification slot that is super frustrating. I know it is for safety but I have never seen that at a hotel before besides going to a suite level. It is probably why they were slow in arriving to my floor as well.
It was a beautiful hotel besides. Great conference facilities, cool bar, friendly staff.
The Sheraton in Phoenix is a beautiful hotel. The rooms are clean and well furnished. It is located within a block of the Phoenix Convention Center and is within walking distance of several great restaurants. The service was excellent and the staff went out of their way to make my stay more enjoyable. I would happily stay here again.
