For the money we paid, we expected a fridge and microwave in the room. As for the cleanliness and smell of the room, for a Sheraton it was below standards. Seriously! I've stayed in better with the above and at a cheaper price. No more Sheraton for us!

The hotel staff was helpful and friendly but this hotel is not clean. I stayed here 5 years ago and was very impressed. However during my most recent stay in June 2017 I noticed how dingy and disgusting this place has become. The carpets through out the hotel was very dirty and need to be replaced. There was a large wet stain in the hallway and it wasn't from a leaky ceiling, I am certain it was urine. The rooms bathroom and tub were filmy, the rugs, drapes, linens were tattered. I don't usually notice or remark on hotel cleanliness but the poor quality through out the hotel was noticeable. This hotel has seen better days but honestly I wish I had stayed next door at the Hampton Inn.

From the look of lobby, we thought that this would be a nice place to stay. The lobby offers a cozy area to sit and relax. You can see the pool, it is very nice. Once you go upstairs and get off the elevator, it was a different story. The ice machine worked on one floor, but the soda machine didn't. So we had to go to another floor and the soda machine worked but the ice didn't. On top of that everything was EXTRA. Microwave.. extra, fridge extra there was even a sign on the water bottle in the room that said $2.00 EXTRA. The icing on the cake was the super large cockroaches the we found in the room 😨. Long story short they won't see me again. Very unpleasant experience!

Overall, a decent, convenient hotel. I am staying here for a few days attending a convention hosted by the hotel. As convention hosts, they have done well, and I have heard no complaints from other attendees. However, when I checked in, there were hairs in the bedding and food on the floor, there were no other rooms available, and this was not fixed until late the next day. I was up to 2 in the morning trying to get new bedding, and wound up removing all the bedding and sleeping with just clean sheets delivered in the middle of the night by a security guard. They comped me two breakfasts for the trouble. When the room was finally cleaned properly, it became quite comfortable and serviceable. The staff has been very polite and friendly. The restaurant is good, and it is far enough from the airport that I have not been bothered by planes.

The rooms seem nice but the air conditioning does not work well. Additionally they do not have or offer fans to guests. The pillows are so soft that they flatten out to be paper thin. If you did not sleep in your room and did not mind the hot tempatures of the room, in December mind you, and with the AC on full blast, it would be a nice place. The rest of my traveling party (5) had the exact same complaints.

Pro travelers know that the employees make a huge difference. The ones I encountered like Sean at the front desk make you feel like family. That first impression didn't fail on showing what to expect later in the room's cleanliness and amenities. People care about this place. Bottom line professional travelers appreciate most is that family vibe like Sean have. Not over the top butter you up but treats you as fam which is appreciated.
Update: they snuck a $10 mysterious "facility fee" to the bill. Not a tax. Took 5 phone calls and finally got someone from accounting who said they didn't know what it was but it was taken off. Convenient. Be careful. Went from 5 star review to 3 thanks to billing and guest services.response / report this review -

Stayed here for one night prior to flying out the next morning. The decor is older than I'm used to buy I still very much liked it. The staff were friendly and helpful; a true credit to the Sheraton brand. The rooms were spacious and very clean. I would stay here again.

Held a 2 day seminar here. Meeting room was perfect - roomy, high ceiling, meeting room was more square (not long a narrow long room most hotels have),temperature was good and even though it's by the airport you cannot hear any planes in the meeting room or your sleeping room. Catering staff was great, on time and food was very.

We spent the weekend of March 3-5th for our granddaughters dance convention. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. Considering all the kids running around and the long crazy nights, every one of the staff kept a smile on their face and helped however they could. My favorite staff member, Tyrone, worked the food line outside the convention room. He always made you laugh and was very friendly. We had a lot of fun with him! Also, shout out to the men helping with luggage! Thank you all! We will be back again!
