I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in a 2-bed room. Though I didn't necessarily need a 2nd bed, the lower rate(~$100) was worth it. They offer an indoor pool/spa as well as a small workout gym area. My only complaint was walking into a hot room after checking in. It may have been due to the fact that it was in the 30s outside but rather than having the heater on, I would've preferred the off position. The included breakfast was my favorite. I attempted to include a sample of what I had. I would recommend a stay to anyone.
Our traveling soccer team stayed at this location over the weekend of Dec 1-3. Everyone in our group could not stop saying how kind and accommodating the staff were. Seriously, the friendliest group Of hotel employees we had ever encountered. We travel quite often with our team so this was a very nice change of pace for us. We were welcomed at check in by Cynthia and the manager ( I believe Maria) they were both outstanding in every way. There were evening snacks available yo us at no cost and they let us take over the entire lounge/ breakfast area to have a team dinner and watch football together. Beds were very comfortable. WiFi spotty but that’s probably not shocking since we had 20 teenagers using it at the sale time. No complaints from anyone on our group. Thank you all so much for your hospiliality !! Excellent Value - The property is well maintained and updated. The rooms are great size for traveling families or business travel. WiFi is reliable and easily accessible.
The quick free breakfast in the morning is a great way to start the day. I would absolutely recommend this hotel if you are looking for a budget friendly overnight stay.
I was there for a meeting and presentation lunch. Everything was clean and pretty, and we were served a good breakfast at the start. The staff kept things running seamlessly and even gave us candy as we left
The place was great, especially for the price. The rooms were very clean and the beds were super comfy. The breakfast was one of the best free hotel breakfasts I've ever had. I was even able to eat the eggs which I can never stomach anywhere else. The only thing that was a negative was having to pay $10 for parking. Other than that I highly recommend staying here.
Our stay was very comfortable. The parking fee is slightly annoying. The large hot tub is a great perk for staying here. The walls are thick enough to keep out the sounds of the airplanes flying around you, but not enough to deaden the sounds of people talking outside your room at 2 am.
This is for the one at the airport. One of our rooms smelled of cigar smoke. They told us they didn't have another room. They were going to send us next door to the Courtyard but we would have to pay the difference if it was higher.when we challenged that and said that one bed was fine for that room, they cane up with a handicap-access room. In the other room , the interior shower curtain was too short so water got all over the floor. Breakfast ended at 9. We stayed in another Fairfield a few days earlier and it ended at 10:30 on weekdays.
Always stay at Marriott properties when I travel for work. I choose Marriott because you can typically depend on the "brand" this location wasn't too bad and very convenient to the airport. The first night..: I noticed stains on the sheets not where I was laying so I just went with it. Would probably try another location next time I'm in the area but overall, it wasn't a bad experience.
Breakfast was what I expected: plenty of quick and simple options. The staff working the breakfast buffet was great!! The room showed a bit of age, but everything was perfectly clean and tidy. The room smelled fresh and stayed cool all night. Staff was friendly. Very quiet environment. There is a $10 a day parking fee, but considering the location, it's understandable. I would stay here again if passing through. Fair price for accommodations.
Even though the facility is a little older, it is very clean and has great staff. My family and I missed our flight and they were very kind and accommodating to our situation. They also have a free airport shuttle, free breakfast and have military discounts.
Decent room, great location from the airport. Kinda distant from food options, and my Wi-Fi got cutoff partway through the night instead of a full 24 hours. Otherwise a great option for near the airport.
It was great hotel they had a wonderful hot breakfast. They had security walking around at night outside in the parking lot not just there own, but they had college park police driving around the parking lot as well. So I felt safe and also felt that my vehicle was well protected it was quiet and peaceful during my stay there I was comfortable and felt at homethe only thing I did have a problem with which wasn't so much of an issue but the rooms had just walk in showers. No tubs unless you had a suite what if someone wants to take a bath or just soak in the tub. But other than that everything was fine. I will be staying there again the next time we come back to Atlanta.
I am finally getting the chance to review this disgrace of a hotel on Google regarding my most recent trip. To preface this, I have stayed in this hotel before and the experience was more than lackluster and quite frankly a little bizarre. When my boss booked our most recent trip this was the only hotel within reasonable distance to our conference, so we decided to roll with the punches.
We arrived after 10:00pm on Wednesday 1/11/17 only to find out that our reservations for 3 rooms had been "lost." Reservations, mind you, that had been double checked would be there upon our arrival - why would anyone expect anything less after reserving rooms on their credit card?
The front desk acted as if this was not an unusual experience, which is ironic because while at our conference we found out that not one not two but AT LEAST three other offices had the very same experience with this hotel the same day. What did they expect to happen when all of these offices showed up only to find out they had no bed to sleep in? One office was lucky enough to share a single room with all of their team members, but that was obviously not the case for our team. The hotel offered to send us to a hotel that was in fact an hour away (in the wrong direction of where we needed to be for the next 3 days) and called us a cab. When the cab arrived, he did not have the room for our team and luggage. Without saying a word to us the driver walked away and before we knew it a 2nd shady driver arrived and tried to take our luggage to put in 2 separate vehicles without saying so much as a hello to us. Needless to say, we did not get into those cabs. We wound up calling our own Uber, finding a different hotel (also an hour away) so not to deal with the same issues when we finally arrived after midnight (only to be expected at our conference - remember an hour away now - BY 8:00am). We were really regretting the work day we had beginning at 6:30am on that Wednesday (also travel day).
I wished that I had complained as thoroughly the previous time we stayed at this hotel. The service as disgraceful, the "King Suite" was so large and oddly thrown together in a way that I would confidently say was far from "clean." The carpet was enough to send goosebumps down your spine. The best surprise I had was that next morning when I went to take a shower - the shower door didn't close, which didn't matter much because the shower head actually faced toward the door (meaning it completely flooded the bathroom). Should I even mention that one of the 2 sinks was directly located above the toilet and the other as behind the door. So brushing my teeth was truly a joy.
I cannot express to my readers enough how important it is to stay anywhere but here. If I had to deal with these experiences, that's one thing, but the fact that my amazing team went through such hell on what was supposed to be the beginning of a very exciting trip is just saddening to me. Customer service is key to every business and despite what you may read, believe me when I say that this hotel's customer service is the exact example of what you would not want your business to display.
I would've given a four star rating, but when I called ahead concerning a reservation and was told my parking would be free. I asked specifically if they had a park here fly there special that would include the parking for my vehicle for the duration of my trip. I was assured the price I was quoted including parking for my trip. Upon arrival when I inquired about the shuttle, which was very efficient, I was told it would be an additional $8 dollars a day. I was not pleased, but it was already 11:00 pm, and I had just drove 3 1/2 hours to get there so I didn't have much choice. I explained what I was told, which was the entire reason I had chosen this hotel, but to no avail. Nothing was suggested to remedy my problem, but that I could go try another hotel. By this point I was pretty upset that they wouldn't even attempt to stick to the agreement to which I was assured would be waiting on me upon arrival. There was no miscommunication simply to whomever I spoke was either completely ignorant to their hotels policy or I was blatantly lied to in order to insure my reservation. The hotel wasn't terrible, but the honesty I experienced was found wanting.
**side note** I did experience a bit of problems with the toilet not flushing properly as well, but as it occurred moments before my checkout I simply left to catch the shuttle.
