Good location, parking limited in the front but always available in the back. The room feels large due to the vaulted ceilings (was on 2nd floor). The cons I felt were no microwave and bagels for breakfast. Near Johnny's Eastside diner, go there for breakfast instead. Starbucks is walking distance if that's your thing.

Don't waste money on this place. Free breakfast was a joke. Only one microwave and it was outside. No washcloths. Had to use towels to shower. Overall experience just wasn't worth it.

I called to book a room. He said he had one available. I gave him my name & card number to hold it for 30 min until I could get there. He said he’d hold it for an hour. I got there about 45 min later & he had sold it. Totally unprofessional. Got a room up the road at budget inn & it’s awesome. Very friendly staff.

Ok Motel. The location is pretty off and the uberdrivers told us to be careful during the evenings/nights. Breakfast was ok, bagel and a yoghurt, basic. Rooms were tidy and clean. Staff was nice.

I stopped in to inquire about a room and a soon as I walked into the lobby the clerk left. I stood out front and waited on her for nearly 10 min when she came storming up to me and very rudely said if your not staying here you have to leave. Lol. I was shocked. I got a room up the street where staff is friendly and helpful. I called and emailed the Shalimar to talk to manager and got nothing. I did find out that the woman's name is Angie

Had a great time staying at this Motel. Very centrally located, close to downtown Miami and South Beach. The rooms are very nice, and AC worked great for us. The breakfast is filling, be it that it is continental, nothing too special, but it comes in a fun basket.
Shout out to Ricardo who is one of the employees who works at the front desk. He made our experience great by resolving any issues immediately! We had our fridge go out on us, and in the middle of the night, he was completely willing to get it fixed right away. There are other examples as well.

From the outside the motel doesn't look that appealing but the rooms are clean and the service is good. The outside areas have a weird scent but there is plenty of parking. They offer a continental breakfast but it's not great.

The host was very friendly. The room had a musty smell, but was otherwise clean. The floors were marble, and the bed was clean and comfortable.

Decent little motel, get what you pay for a clean room and sweet bed. Excellent location as well can reach most of the worthwhile places in Miami with ease. Would definitely recommend it!

The property itself is in a nice quiet location. Although this is a motel, i have to give it two thumbs up for the cleanliness. Not what i was expecting. The bed was a bit lumpy, but comfortable. The shower was clean and stocked. Furnishing was modernoverall, i would use this motel again. Great location! Lots of places to eat around the area, starbucks is just around the corner.

Clean and simple. Great Customer service and friendly owners. Great location. Would recommend to anyone who's not looking for big and fancy to stay here.
