Intimate setting, but as authentic as it gets. The only thing was that my kimchi wasn't spicy, which I thought was odd, but everything else was perfect. The seafood pancake is a must; it's pricey, but it's huge and could easily serve four people. If you like Korean, then you'll love this place. Just be prepared for a decent wait time if it's busy.

Excellent little Korean restaurant located in a small shopping center on Nolensville Road. My brother took us. I never would have known anything was there otherwise. Service was a bit scattered but the beef bulgogi was superb. Great taste, not overdone. Recommended.

Started out a little iffy because there wasn't a single other person there at 600pm. But we love Korean BBQ, so we pressed on. The waitress was great, friendly as can be. The food was plentiful and tasted authentic. Definitely a place to visit again.

Wow! Seoul Garden was an amazing experience! There was a little wait but it was so worth it! They were slammed and once we were seated we didn't see the waitress as often as we would have in a more chain-style establishment, but she was going non-stop working the restaurant with another lady! The food was great, the sides were plentiful..drink refills were good. I read the negative reviews and was hesitant initially, I'm so glad I ignored them! We just didn't have the same experience as previous customers. We'll definitely be back!!

This place literally FORCE customers to tip. They will automatically put 20% gratuity on the bill no matter what without listing anywhere on the menu either so that you'll know beforehand. We wanted to tip cash instead and they throw the money at our face and told us to never come back. Though we received pretty much no service, i understand the concept behind tiping. However, keep in mind tipping is never and should never be FORCED but OPTIONAL. don't go to this place unless you wanna be humiliated out of their completely selfish rudeness.

Nice place, the food was delicious, pork belgiogi. It was great and all the sides they give you are awesome. The service are kind and fast. And the price are in average. You must try if you like Korean good.

Great authentic Korean BBQ with very nice and attentive service. They also do all the BBQ work for you here! All their meat was great. For side items, their 'Pajeon' is recommended. Located in a plaza next to the park (turn off the main road).

We had the BBQ tonight. The meat and soup were great. Is it a bit pricey as others have said? a bit but overall not that bad. We all went away full plus a bit left over. Is the service a bit slow as others have mentioned? a bit but I have been in Seoul and Gangnam many times and dinner is not rushed as we tend to do in the U.S. so relax and enjoy your dinner and the companionship of friends. Do they automatically add a 20% tip for BBQ? yes but I tend to tip 20% or more anyway so not a big deal. Bottom line is that the food is real good and it is a nice place to eat. We would definitely go back.

Beautiful food. Wonderful service. Pleasant ambiance. But the food! So delicious. Korean food is so addictive.

You can sit at a Bar B Que table and grill your own food, with help if needed, or sit at a regular table and order an entree. I've done both and both meals are delicious and more than satisfying. At this restaurant, appetizers are each enough for a crowd. And the crowd enjoys every bite.

For people who haven't been to a Korean restaurant, you order the entree or the meat(s) to grill. First you get the banchan, which is an array of little plates of delicious side dishes.

Korean food is beautiful, delicious and nourishing. And I highly recommend Seoul Garden. You'll enjoy it!

The food was fantastic! BBQ at the table the meat was fresh and marinated beautifully. The Seafood Pancake appetizer was so good that we ordered another one. Light and fluffy and panfried with a light golden crispy crunch. I would give five stars, but the service was more than slow, which could have been more of a cultural divide.

I agree with some of the reviews here. A bit priced, food is decent. You can definitely see how they treat Koreans vs everyone else. I've come here a lot of times, but I over looked the treatment since all I wanted to eat was the food because I love it. Yesterday (June 3, 2017) before I left the waitress said to me that I didn't tip her enough, she even gave an example of a hibachi restaurant that automatically adds a 15 or 18% tip to the bill and that it was ok this time. Unfortunately there won't be a next time. Never before was this an issue when I left tips. I even asked the young hostess up front about the tip situation to make sure I understood correctly and she apologized and said it is not mandatory for me to tip her. Now that I think about it I left a $3 tip one time and it was changed to a $5. I figured they could have made a mistake and didn't bother confronting them about it, but after reading a review about them changing the tips I see that it wasn't a mistake. There should be greater appreciation for all customers regardless of ethnicity since at the end of the day we some how help keep the business open.

Good Korean food. Has a variety of options from grilling the meat yourself to chef cooked entrees. The menu makes it hard to determine the serving size so check with the wait staff to make sure you don't order too much or not enough. Has room for private parties. Drink selection is lacking and staff is not as attentive as I would have liked. Would go again.
