I was very disappointed, I made reservation for a group of 5 and a baby about a week in advance and they gave us a table in the back by the kitchen and bathrooms. I have been to many Brazilian restaurants and this one was by far the one I have liked the least. Server was not very attentive, it took about 30 min before they started to bring out the meats. The salad bar was poor and not very inviting. This was also the most expensive Brazilian restaurant I have ever been to. Definitely not worth the $300 we were charged. When my son asked for desert the server did not bring out the choices on a platter like they did for other tables instead he gave him a menu and left, we had to wave him down to order desert for everyone. Lamb chops were awful and we were never offered a refill on our drinks.
I do appreciate the GM responding to my post. Being in the Service industry myself let me remind you that eating out is about the experience and personally I don’t mind paying for a great experience. I live out of state but my son being a local suggested this restaurant for it’s reviews, unfortunately did not meet any of our expectations. I know you’re competition well. Sacrificing service and quality for price is not becoming.response / report this review -

Wow! Very nice atmosphere. The entire staff was very friendly and on point. The food was just incredible. Every bite is a sheer pleasure. I enjoyed a sweet raspberry muddled cocktail which I would also highly recommend. This is five star dining at its finest. I will most definitely return. Thank You Ipanenma for a beautiful dining experience.

Absolutely wonderful dining experience. Great staff, so helpful and on it. The inside is so beautiful and relaxing. The lighting is amazing. The food is awesome because you get to eat a lot of different kinds of meats, the tapas that were on our table when we sat down we different and so dang good. Their fried bananas are mouth watering.The grilled pineapple was a huge hit at our table, we couldn’t get enough! Dessert was a pleasant surprise, Not just your ordinary restaurant dessertsJust so goodWe are going back ASAP..Best place I’ve been to in Ocala.

We have eaten at several Brazilian steakhouse, and this one ranks in our top 3! The meats were seasoned perfectly and the roasted pineapple is amazing!! Service was great and worth going to again!

This place is amazing. Be prepared to spend a little money( no more then a night out for sushi) and enjoy. The service was awesome. Never were we without anything we needed. Food was fantastic to say the least. Just like any place you go. There will be those food snobs that had something that wasn't to their liking and leave a bad review. I'm no food snob I'm just a good old country boy who enjoys good food. And honestly if you go here and say the food isn't good. Then the problem is between your ears. I will go back for sure and would recommend it to anyone.

Love the service, the atmosphere, and the food was AMAZING!!! Our server Paul was very attentive and talk about service with a smile! And the restaurant manager Fabian, kudos to you for such an amazing restaurant!!

Dined here with my husband on our anniversary, it was a bit of a drive but it was a really good experience. We enjoyed the variety on salad bar, there wasn't much variety with meats but still good. The atmosphere was relaxing.

What they have achieved at Ipanema is something really exceptional. I walked in, not knowing what to expect, and was treated to upscale dining, low lightning, sharp staff, and a welcoming attitude (I was wearing a work shirt and flip-flops, but was not turned away. Already impressed.)
Our server Paul was on-point and extremely helpful, the Gaucho waiters brought an endless assortment of meats to our table (the Bacon-Wrapped Filet is the best, I cannot understate this), and my friend and I both ate until no more eating was possible. The atmosphere is so relaxing as to be almost sedating, I would call it therapeutic.
42 dollars opens you up to infinite steak, all of it transcendent. A small paper mat is turned up or down to indicate "Yes please, turn the meat back on," or "No thank you, I am currently eating meat" so that the Gaucho waiters can determine when to bring skewers of the best steak, pork, and chicken possible.
Die-hard carnivores must visit Ipanema. I enjoy showing off Ipanema to friends. I try to go as often as possible.response / report this review -

We read a lot of bad reviews about this place but decided to give it a try. Our experience was fantastic. The place is beautiful and the food was amazing. Our waiter was on top of everything we needed and the meat just kept on coming. Was a little pricey but was well worth it. We will be going back in the future.

Been here many times. I'm a regular customer. Food is always great but this visit we hardly saw anybody. Rarely saw a guy bring steaks out. Barely saw our waiter. Mentioned this to waiter but it did not change things. It was not very crowded either. Took forever for any refills. Very concerning!!! The rotation of meat desperately needs to be increased!! I've read it in other past reviews as well. A sign that management doesn't care about the customer.

First time eating at this amazing lovely restaurant. The food is delicious. Wonderful atmosphere. The staff is attentive, polite and informative. Love the the concept. I highly recommend it.

Nice atmosphere, friendly people, clean environment, good food. The method of service is a nice switch. Be aware that the lunch selection is about half the meats that are in the dinner menu. My only complaint is that every beef selection is seasoned using crusted rock salt. It's a very valid method of cooking the meat, but it means you don't have any beef options that aren't very salty (except the bacon wrapped fillet on the dinner menu). Asking the server to slice off the outer layer of meat mostly fixes the issue if you, like Me, are salt sensitive.
