It was fair. Meat was burnt. Food was very bland. Sanitation rating was awful for a Mexican Restaurant. The decor is neat though. Chips were cold.

Really good place for lunch or dinner. Almost 5 stars but the chips are always too greasy for me. Every thing else is great though

Top Notch Mexican food, been in Winston a very long time and had my favorites however I had never been to Senor Bravos until a few weeks ago. Now I have a new favorite! The food is amazing, the chicken and steak are both super tender and seasoned perfectly, the prices are lower than most Mexican restaurants in the city, the salsa is out of this world and the service is SPECTACULAR (Mario is the excellent!). We had Margaritas as well and they were wonderful, not skimpy like some of the other places around town. We have even been back since my first visit and again had wonderful service and the food was still amazing! Senor Bravos has become our new go to Mexican restaurant!

Average Mexican food and atmosphere. Had a chimichanga and a smooth margarita. The staff was friendly and attentive.

I was in Winston Salem for a clergy conference and decided to eat lunch at Señor Bravo. It was the best Mexican food I have eaten in years. The owner told me the secret is that everything is prepared fresh daily. Even the salsa is prepared daily and never allowed to sit for days in the refrigerator. The staff was cheerful and helpful. I will eat here again when in Winston Salem.

Best salsa in town. Among the better Mexican places. Great fish tacos. Friendly staff and owners.

I am not sure if all of the raving reviewers are privy to a special menu or know some trick to receive a decent meal but holy cow that was the worst food I've had in a long time. The tortilla of my burrito was soggy and tasted like it had been sitting uncovered in a fridge for days absorbing every smell. Everything was just abysmal. On second thought, the water was good and our waiter was pleasant enough.

This place could be better. It is definitely showing its age and the food is so so.

The menu had a large variety of unique dishes. The salsa was blande but the chips seemed home made. The family agreed that the taste diminished quickly with each bite which was disappointing for the price we paid.
