One of my absolute favorite parts about visiting Winston. McKay's has a great selection of written media, music, toys, and my personal favorite, video games. There's always plenty to look through, and the prices are very fair. None of the toxic price inflation that I've encountered before in trendy vintage gaming shops. It's just a pleasant establishment that never fails me. I definitely recommend it!

So many great titles for a price you can't beat. You can also bring in old books, text books, music, electronics, and more to acquire store credit! I got a lot of textbooks for college and save HUNDREDS of dollars. The staff is very helpful and polite, and the store is well organized. If you're looking for a specific topic or genre, you'll find that the labels on every shelf point you to exactly what you're looking for! I also recommend McKay's if you're looking to complete a collection.

Good selection and decent prices for the most part, but not very customer friendly.

The books are really cheap but they are in really good conditions. Even a teacher I had saw the book I bought for his class and was surprised when he saw the price, and he say he would go there himself. There is a lot of books, and parents can probably find books for their children. If a teacher asks for a curtain book.

Great selection of used books with decent prices. Lots of little gems if you're willing to take the time to look. They also carry used video games, DVDs, collectibles, etc.

Do not bother calling them. I called 25 times - no answer. I went up there and they said "Oh we don't answer the phone anymore, but you can leave a message." I told them, "No you cannot, I called 25 times and the message simply said, 'Call back later'." It never once said "Leave a message." They did not seem to really care. I used to love coming hereUsed to being the operative word. If they are trying to lose customers, they are well on their way. I am quite sure they will be out of business by next summer. Too bad - it used to be a very customer friendly business.

I like their selection of merchandise & the prices aren't bad. I used to love going there but the staff they have now are kind of jerks. I took a movie to sell & after they told me what they would buy it for, I was trying to decide if I wanted to sell or not & the guy says, "or you can keep it" & kind of flips the movie towards me.. Pretty rude. I probably won't go back anymore. I miss the way it used to be.

I love this place. You could easily spend lots of time just looking around here and often I do. Trying to convince myself that I can't buy everything I see. The books are always a good price, the records and music as well. Games and DVDs vary in being a bargain or being overpriced. They honor a 7 day return policy with receipt but in all my time shopping there I've never had to return something due to damage. The only reason I did not give 5 is because they no longer have a seating section and sometimes a title will show in their system and it is nowhere to be found. Small things in comparison to how awesome this store is.

Decent selection, didn't have quite everything I was looking for. Great prices on all of their books. I haven't checked out the music section, but I know the video game section often has a few good deals.

New ownership has made this place far worst. All the charisma of the store pre change is gone. Terribly priced and trade in values are a joke.

Edward Mckay, (now "Mckays" I guess) always has an interesting assortment of used book, games, and music. I love browsing through the shelves full of every imaginable genre. Really just an awesome bookstore
