My favorite places in Winston-Salem with a big choice of delicious desserts, hot tea and coffee. Good for hanging out with friends or just spend some time during a busy day.

My favorite cupcakes! They add new cupcakes to the menu seasonally. My favorite is the red velvet cupcake. I love how all the cupcakes are moist and not overly sweet.

I go here just about every time I am in Winston-Salem. It's a nice spot to hang out. The bakery is very good. They also have some creative coffee and tea drinks.
I took off a star for a few reasons. One is that the internet is a bit flaky. It works, but I wouldn't plan on doing much real work with it if you need to remote into a server because it will sort of "flicker" from time to time.
Another small knock is that it is very pricey. The quality is good and clearly they aren't hurting for business, so it would be silly for them to charge less. Nevertheless, you are definitely paying for the fancy pastries and breads as well as the beautiful lattes.
Finally (and this is extremely small) I love the custom tables in there. It just bugs me when a chess board is set up wrong. There is supposed to be a light square on the bottom right and the table with the inlaid chessboard is off by 90 degrees.response / report this review -

I come in this city only 2x a year and this place is better than Starbucks. Feels like home. The employees are great and very informative. I asked if they had white chocolate and she was able to explain that they make everything in house and how that is a processed product but convinced me is like something else and i love it. Awesome place!!!!

Their Nitro Coldbrew is amazing. This place can get crazy crowded on the weekends but if you can get a table it’s a nice place to sit and relax.

Camimo's is lovely but it's always packed. The drinks are especially amazing and their desserts are delicious.

Delightful find in downtown. The cranberry butternut sage goat cheese empanda was unassuming but inspiring, so much so had a second. Struck up a solar conversation with a Physics PhD student which is what outdoor picnic tables are intended.

Camino is a great place to stop by and study if you're in college. If you need a place to get some work done, it's comfortable and cozy.
They have great coffee (they serve Counter Culture Coffee based out of Raleigh, NC)! The savory baked goods are delicious, and their cheesecakes are always fantastic.response / report this review -

Camino is the coolest cafe in town! Great for coffee dates, not as great for working, but sufficient. Great coffee, my go to for breakfast if I'm out of foods!

Nice quaint spot in the center of Winston Salem with excellent coffee and pastries, along with some good options for wine. Outdoor seating was on point!

They have the odd "Hipster" and "Organic Hippie" drinks there along with the normal coffee/bakery goods.
I had the Elder Flower sparkling something mint and it was amazing. Someone on the staff there does some essence extraction. Those essences go right into some of the beverages.

Greet service! Ice Cap was delicious, iced coffee was simple. The almond horn pastry was incredible. Do it!
