Bartender was very accommodating for an out-of-towner trying to watch his team. Despite calls to change the one TV I was watching he stated it was spoken for and first come first serve. Good selection of beers on tap. Good appetizers.

This is my son's regular hangout, so we end up here often. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. Great beer selection and the food is very good. They also make great Bloody Marys. Great place to watch a game on their TVs.

The food was great, and after 10 they switch to slightly larger drink holders so a wee bit more drink for your dollar. Great time would go again.

I ordered the pogue mahone burger, it was fantastic. But I'm telling you, anyone that appreciates the art of pickling such as I, will know that Hawks specifically carries some of the finest pickles in all of America. The pickles were so crisp and snapped so eloquently, that I had fallen upon pure Bliss. The pickle had me at first bite.

The food was quite good once I got it. It took more than half an hour after ordering. The vibrating buzzer they gave me was dead, though the way it flashed intermittently could have fooled me. The drink I ordered along with my meal was forgotten and I had to go back for it. The ketchup containers at my table were empty. I had to borrow one from a nearby table.

One of the best suits on State Street. Always have "the game" on, and for big ones, they pull down their projection screen. Great pub food, especially the salmon burger. Never too crowded, and a slightly-older-than-college crowd.

Never have been there for food however the long islands are fantastic. Great priced on Thursday and Sunday nights. Even reasonable priced at $5 on weekend nights.
