Food was okay. I had the open face prime rib and the meat was edible as far as quality. The bread and potatoes were good as to quality. But everything was just barely warm. Drinks were good. Grasshopper was ok, have had much better. I would eat at your place again but would not order the prime rib or the grasshopper. Have been there many times and this was not one of the better ones. Have always had good pasta and good burgers.

Great atmosphere but the food leaves a lot to be desired. The restaurant appears to be higher end but the food is not. I had the baked cod during the Friday night fish fry and it was awful. First off the $15 order only came with 2 very small pieces of fish until I inquired why I only had 2 pieces. The server did however bring me two more pieces. Second, the fish was severely over cooked. The atmosphere and live music are nice but I would not recommend the food.

There are not many places to dine out in this area, but unfortunately this place does not alleviate that problem. The only really good part of our recent experience was the Deschutes IPA and our young waiter, a decent fellow struggling to overcome a serious lack of training. The less said about the meal the better.

Service was slow ordered a beer while they were bringing food out didn't get it until they brought the bill. We had a larger group so food took a little longer but that was sorta understandable. Place looks nice and had a good feel but need to work on timing.

Really nice restaurant. I was surprised by the menu, service, and establishment. Great food, good selection if craft and domestic beers.

This place appears to be a little hit or miss. Last time everything was very good. This time it was marginal. I had baked cod which was good. The house salad was considerably different from last time. Another person in the group had fried walleye and said it was some of the best he has had. My wife had the prime rib and it was not very good. The seasoning on it was just not great. The meat itself was fine and it was cooked ok. She said the baked potato was not very good either. We'll try again.

I did not eat there when I stopped in. I just sat and the bar to watch March Madness. Bar is nice plenty room to sit at the bar or tables right by the bar. Great selection of beer and liquor. It was a little busy but service was still good. Not outrageously over priced.

Went for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon with no wait and had beautiful outdoor seating. The waitress was super friendly and attentive. I ordered the Turkey BLT which was so yummy. My Dad had the wallaye sandwhich and he was not a fan. Their drink menu looks tasty too! We will be back!

We had a wood fired pizza (Southwest), which was excellent! Ample toppings -almost too much, if that's even possible- and the crust was perfectly cooked. The drinks are well made and priced reasonably. As a bonus, there was a guitarist/singer that was outstanding: I mean, this guy's guitar skills were mad good!

I highly recommend 1855 Saloon and Grill to anyone living in, or passing through, the area.

Extremely slow service! The drinks ordered first came after the salad. We were asked if we wanted dessert before our main meal came. Waitress thought we had eaten because we waited so long. Forgot mushroom had to ask for them. Food was great!

We were dissapointed with our lunch. Used to be a great place to have actual good fresh food. Has declined on quality and more focused on quick and overpriced cheap fillers. Two stars because the beer list was mediocre or it would be one.

We've been dining here for years and slowly watched the decline of the food and service in addition to the increases in prices. We stopped going for a while after we were overcharged for our food and my email complaint was ignored. But decided to give it another try after we heard new management had taken over and got a take out fish fry. It was horrendous!! The fish tasted like it was in the freezer way too long. I could have had better frozen fish sticks. The tarter tasted sour. The red potatoes were mush. The coleslaw was warm. No bread and the salads were missing. $31.65 for junk food is rediculous!! I called to tell them of my experience and the kid on the other end said I could come back in to get the missing items, after I was already homeand didn't offer up much after that, just sat there on the phone. So much for customer service. NEVER AGAIN!!

Yesterday my family had a luncheon get together at the 1855 Saloon and had an outstanding experience. The food was great, starting with huge platters of the best nacho followed by a great assortment of beautifully served sandwiches. The service was top notch. Our Server, Victoria, was friendly and efficient. In fact she took orders for 21 people and every order was right. She worked extremely hard taking care of our large group.
Thank you, Victoria and 1855 Saloon for a great time. We will definitely be bsck.

This place is a really nice restaurant. It's nice inside with a great decor. The food is generally always excellent. They have a great bar, live music (good live music) and they will always have the game on. Only lost a star because I'd like to see the taps revolve a little more often. I know, it's picky, because I really like this place.
