What an awesome place .. people are friendly Staff are exceptional. Food is greatentertainment is WOW!!!! What a privilege it was to meet the man himself Thanks for an awesome memorable evening!!!

Corn bread. Jambalaya. Beer. Live music that is free early. Cover charge for second group starting at 830pm. No rush to clear tables. No pressure on patrons to leave to get more people in. Sit with friends. Enjoy the music and the food. I visited twice in 3 days while in Chicago. Two thumbs up.

Very rude personnel. There was a guy that was pushing us rudly from our chairs just because we brought 2 extra chairs on the table. Instead of just asking us to move, he was yelling and pushing us. He pushed his fingers on the ribs 45 year old lady that was with us. Never again. Chicago Blues is much better place and humane. Shame on this place

Visited there last week. A great place to go for live music in Chicago. Had a great time. Apparently Buddy came out and joined the band for a few songs during the first set - unfortunately we missed that. Still - a great night.

Food was very good. Entertainer was pretty good a fun place to eat and be entertained $20 cover starts at 8 p.m.

Chicago is rich in culture. That is exemplified by one of it's premier gems, a blues club known as Buddy Guy's Legend. When I stepped through the doors an electrifying ambience embraced me. Guest from near and far enjoying the house delights literally were treated with a Monday Open Mike that included a Buddy Guy moment backed by the Jimmy Burns Group (house band of the evening). The night featured riveting appearances by Mr G. Guy (Buddy's son), Mr Wes, Ms Holley Maxwell, and Ms Queen. The evening was rounded out with a rotation of sign in jam musicians who were not short on talent themselves Also, a shout out to my new friends from St. Louis, glad you had fun . Nice spot Buddy

The Mike Dangerous Band was incredible. They played 2 hours nonstop. Buddy Guy sat in with the band to make it that much better. It was a wonderful experience.

I usually do not post or leave feedback, but this experience warrants it. The service, atmosphere, music and entrees were great. We're all from Dallas mostly, but we were treated like family! We absolutely appreciated the big guy Daryl and his hospitality; along with the rest of the staff on that 3rd of July.

Rated 5 stars for the overall experience. Food is a solid 4 - wonderful homestyle Cajun/Creole. I was delighted to find that the new location, while a little bit bigger and cleaner, retains a bit of the "dive bar" feel and has a similar intimate layout like the original location. It's all about the music here. Pure and true blues at it's finest. Every table close to the stage. Even if you don't like or know the blues when you go in, you will love it by the time you leave.

Awesome. Good food and great music. Loved seeing the memorabilia on the wall and in the case. Food prices aren't bad and the $10 cover was well worth the legendary artists that okay there. Highly recommend

The live jazz was a nice experience. The food is good nothing to rave about. They might have a cover later in the evening but there are still some performances before they start collecting the cover charge.

Food was a hot mess. I ordered shrimp tacos, and there wasn't a lick of butter on those bad boys or cheese! Rice was plain, literally no salt or anything. Everything was absolutely flavorless. An appetizer of TWO crab cakes was $12!!! And they tasted like fried tuna! Drinks are a minimum of $12 for anything but beer and wine. Service was slow, and the wait staff don't care either. I would go for fast food over this place any day. Save your money.
