Such great pizza and totally awesome beer selection. When I met Rick Nielsen at an IceHogs game in Rockford, I was compelled to tell him that every visit I've made here was outstanding.

Pizza was good and the portion is kinda big. If it's only two of you, I think you can share a small one like what my friend and I had, pepperoni red pizza. Chocolate pizza for dessert is a must and it only comes in one size which is also big for my friend and I. We ordered a beer flight of four which cost us $10, I personally love Roadhouse and The Weight the most. Overall cost us $46 for the bill which ain't too bad! :) have fun

Thoroughly enjoyed our pizza trip here. The crust was amazing on top of the very flavorful toppings. We had half Italian sausage and half pepperoni. It was great. We were a little sad that they did not have pineapple as a topping. It was a little noisy, but it’s also a brewery so that’s to be expected. Great tv views all around to watch football on. All in all a great experience. Highly recommend.

IMO, the best non-deep dish pizza in Chicago. Whether you DIY or order one of their specialty pies, dine in or take out, it's impossible to go wrong. The crust is sublime - crispy, but still soft on the inside with great flavor. All of the toppings I've tried have been fresh, flavorful and cooked to perfection. They also have some really creative flavor combinations. The amount of sauce they put on their pies is just right, and it's amazing as a dipping sauce as well (appetizers). The establishment itself is super lively and fun, with a great beer list. Keep doing what you're doing, Piece!

Overall: While not mind-blowing by any means, Piece is definitely a step above some of the others and delivers crisp, flavorful pizzas and is sure to please.
The good: The pizza as a whole is above-average and definitely recommended. The crust was crunchy but not burnt, and the sauce/cheese/topping ratio was really good. Out of the red and white pizza that we got, the white was actually much more flavorful. Both were great though. The service was friendly and quick to get us our beers, and the pizza came out surprisingly fast (wasn't a full house). Lots of seating and TVs, this is definitely a sports stop.
The not-so-good: For the most part, you have to make your own, which is fine but sometimes I like a place that has their own special creations. A little expensive for pizza, given that there's no unique toppings or combinations. No reservations for smaller parties.
Atmosphere: 8.5/10
Service: 8.5/10

Best thin crust pizza I have had in quite a long time. Crust is crisp and overall the pizza is delicious. Was out for a work lunch, but saw a great beer selection and will be back to try some of the in house brews. Convenient location with street parking available.

Best pizza I've ever had and it goes great with their craft beers. I especially love the Golden Arm and the Double Camel Toe IPA is solid as well.

It's NOT Deep Dish like Lou Malnatis but it is Unique, delicious in it's own right in which this Pizza deserves for the better! The white sauce or "New Haven" style is out of this world!. For Native Chicagoan and tourist this is the spot to try to get away from overhyped deep dish pizza Chicago is popular for. I recommend ordering it with Mash potatoes as a topping and the once now closed "Hot Doug"s brand atomic sausage if you like to try spicy. You can also do classic Anchovies which is a rarity for pizza places that are franchised. I also recommend to try their beer brewery which it is also known for. If you are with a big group the large pizza will be more than enough. If you do carryout I do suggest you make sure your friend's and family will be coming over since this pizza is served best hot and fresh from the oven. I did carry out which is why I say this and which is why I cannot give it a perfect 5 stars because of the quality when NOT eaten right away. It is still great pizza for 4 stars! Also try their Chocolate Pizza as well as the Barbecue Pizza if you are adventurous or a risk taker! I have tried the Chocolate Pizza and was amazed at the dessert pizza. Very tasty!

Interesting pizza style. Thin crust Belly of the Beast is their March special. Pistachios and arugala is certifiably unusual, but it works. Bartender was knowledgeable about ciders, although they don't offer a wide selection; and he was attentive despite having a nearly full bar. Good music and good energy among the patrons. Overall it's everything one could expect from a neighborhood bar.

Interesting local pizza and beer joint. The pizza was OK, nice thin crust but not much cheese. Sauce is one of those things you like either tart or sweet but whatever you like, it needs to be distinct. This was not a standout for me. The house brews were well matched to the pies, clean, well brewed but not distinctive in any way. Service was very good and we were there early so not too noisy.

As a lifelong deep-dish and tomato-oriented pizza eater, I was skeptical about trying this place. But the white pizza was delicious. Basically, that's what I get here since you can get good thin pizza with tomato sauce anywhere in the city. White pizza is unique and tasty--try it. Just be sure to avoid super-busy times since there's a wait.

All around pretty good. I was on the fence of rating 4 or 5 stars, to be honest I wasn't blown aways or really impressed, but I also walked out of there been completely content with the food, drinks (taste and selection of beers) and services Would recommend

Finally tried this spot after having it on my bucket list for awhile and it was AMAZING. We ordered the honey butter fried chicken pizza it was a medium more than enough for two people. The flavors and the pizza was one of the best I've ever had! I'd highly recommend this place, service was also great! We will be coming back. It's too bad they only serve the honey butter fried chicken pizza in January!!
