The best seafood salad I have ever had. It's actually called a fish salad but is loaded with awesome calamari . Also has a great menu of pasta as well as steak and burgers
Had my sisters graduation lunch here and was absolutely amazed by the food and service. Their prime rib sandwich was outstanding and the desserts were superb!
The service might need some work. But when the food is this good it's hard to drop a single star. Their shrimp and steaks are amazing and perfectly cooked. The place is also really nicely decorated with a romantic ombiance. Hats off to the chefs! I left extremely satisfied!
Excellent food and service! I had occasion to eat here several times during my stay. Every time I visited both food and cocktails were on point. The bartenders are great, very knowledgeable.
Enjoyed a fabulous Thanksgiving dinner at TOR this year. I loved that it was a traditional Thanksgiving menu. Everything was delicious and “all you can eat.” Portions were piled high. The carrot cake for dessert was incredible-it made me want to stand on the table and yell, “this carrot cake is f-ing amazing!” (I didn’t do that for my wife’s sake). Our waiter was incredibly pleasant and seemed genuinely happy to be working despite it being a holiday. I highly recommend TOR to anyone considering dining out for Thanksgiving.
Nice, mature crowd. Good food. Bring your piggy bank. It's expensive.
Good vibe. Great people watching
Good time. Great drinks. Amazing food. And an incredible staff willing to serve. Surprised at the laid back environment considering. Will return next time in Chicago.
The best burger I've ever had! Top quality meat and a nice thick patty. I had mine medium rare, beautifully grilled on the outside and juicy and rare on the inside.
Good food and service at reasonable prices and a huge patio. Great for a relaxed dinner or drinks on the patio. Good scene for people watching. Monday night, good scene inside.
I went here last night for a late night drink with a friend to kickoff my birthday week - my waitress was Gabby (who was awesome and gave great suggestions when I had questions on the menu). The cool thing about this tavern is that it is open until midnight on a Sunday - you don't find that type of thing back out in the suburbs.
To start the night we had the Blackened Cajun Shrimp which was delicious. My friend thought they had put too much spice on the shrimp - however I highly enjoyed it with the two dipping sauces they served with the shrimp. For the main meal I chose the Jambalaya which was delicious. The first time I had mussels didn't go over too well - however the way they prepared the mussels here at Tavern on Rush was fabulous. My friend opted for a large bucket of french fries as she was not that hungry. To finish off the night we ordered a cappuccino and a Chocolate Marble TIramisu which was silky in the texture and the mousse was whipped to perfection in my opinion. The plating of the Tiramisu was well done that I almost did not want to eat it due to how pretty it looked - but boy oh boy it tasted like heaven. For drinks my friend got a Mimosa which was good, however she stated there was no sweetness meaning the ratio of champagne to orange juice was greatly leaning towards champagne. I got the Strawberry Blonde Martini which was delicious and it tasted very fresh with each sip which was nice. Another super plus to Tavern on Rush is that valet parking is only $16.99 which is great for the city in my opinion. I will come back to Tavern on Rush to spend some summer nights dining outside that is for sure.
We packed into this fun bar for a night of karaoke and had a blast! Great cocktails and a fun spot for belting out some tunes for the night!
Loved it! Nice service and location, very cute place to eat and have some drinks with friends
Came here with a small group of people to celebrate an anniversary. Great ambiance! Great service and Amazing food!
One of the best restaurants to eat at I Chicago. There service is beyond amazing, the food is to die for and atmosphere ties it all together.
