Sub-par at best. Clean but broken down. Not worth the money we paid.
Great price, awesome service, perfect location. A nice place to stay; they have the stuff for a weekend stay.
Everything was great then I noticed I was a little itchy after sleeping, looking at the sheets I saw black dots like dirt. Don't think it came off of us.
Scandia Lodge & Eaman James Apartments are the same place. If you like cheap & run down, this place is for you. However it is pretty clean & the beds are very comfy. All their signage is broken & falling down. The landscaping is atrocious. The pool was dirty & not filled properly, so everything on the top of the water had no way to filter out over the spill edges. We even found a piece of a radiator hose in the bottom of the pool.
We stayed for 4 nights. Staff is pleasant. Rates are great. Parking is good. Close to West Palm Beach. Rooms are clean and beds are comfy
The bed was extremely uncomfortable and squeaky. There was also a weird smell to the room.
I have been staying here on and off for a few years now and it's always the same, EXCELLENT!! Clean rooms, very friendly and customer service oriented empoyees, safe and low rates. There is no riff raff and is very quiet, that says a lot because the area that it's in is not the best, 2 doors down the motel is $20 more a night and it's a stop and go type place, so I highly recommend this motel
This use to be a very nice boutique hotel but wow has it gone downhill! I use to rent and stay almost entirely season here but got right back in my car when I stopped in time rent a room for the month. Pity, this was a gr8 little spot we will miss it.
It's a great place to be for relaxing the staff are nice .ill always come back
Stayed here in May 2016. Quiet motel, clean rooms. Friendly staff. Had a problem with the toilet and it was promptly fixed. Pool was small, pool area was cozy and peaceful. Enjoyed the small lizards and watching the birds.
Quiet, super hot water, and a pool. 😀
Great shower, good water pressure. Good pillows.
The room that we stayed in seemed clean. The bed was comfortable. There was a mini fridge, toster oven, microwave, coffee maker, and stuff to make coffee was provided. The room has a king size bed, and a nice size tv 📺. Although I don't watch 📺, that may appeal to others. I liked the decor. It was cute and quaint. My favorite feature were the tile floors. I hate rugs, and quite frankly, when in hotel rooms, rugs freak me out. So the tile floors were A huge plus. I took one star 🌟 off because I actually saw and killed a roach. I took another star 🌟 off because there was no breakfast offered, and no overnight front desk service. I suppose if they started employing an overnight staff and offering breakfast then they would have to charge more. We only paid 79 for a Saturday night. Everywhere else in this area was 120 and up. So you do have to keep in mind that you get what you pay for. I posted pictures, but couldn't get a pick of the bed cuz my hubby was sleeping 😴, and I'm pretty sure that he doesn't want a cameo 😏😉✌
Threw a small party here. A little small but had a great time, didn't get charged extra for having guests. No breakfast, and no all night front desk.
Scandia Lodge was an okay hotel. We got a pretty cheap price for the night and we got what we paid for, but there were a couple of not great things. The beds were on the smaller side, and we had issues with getting the shower to warm up. The air conditioning unit was also a bit fussy which disturbed my sleep, but part of that was user error. All and all it was fine for what we paid, but if you are willing to pay more, you may want to go somewhere else.
