Absolutely wonderful staff, rooms were very clean and comfortable including the pillows. The heated outdoor pool was just beautiful, no need to leave the hotel for dinner you can eat at the restaurant located in the hotel. It is conveniently located near lots of restaurants. Would love to visit here again.
We stayed at the Holiday Inn Port St. Lucie for 2 nights during the Thanksgiving holiday. The front desk staff was pleasant enough and the check in process was quick and painless. The room was damp and had a bit of a mildewy smell when we first entered. We turned on the air conditioning to try and rectify this but the room never really dried. It turns out there mini fridge was leaking into the carpet, which I imagine was the source of the problem. We had 2 small full sized beds in our room. The sheets were pilling quite a bit and were, of course, also damp. The pillows were fluffy enough, though. The water pressure in the shower was good and everything was clean for the most part. The hotel coming staff, however, did not clean or room between the two nights at all. I'm not sure if this is standard procedure or an oversight but we were very disappointed to come back to a wet-carpeted, moist, uncleaned hotel room after a busy day. They could have at least brought fresh towels All in all we were pretty disappointed at our stay here.
This is a nice hotel. The food at the restaurant is very good. I got the breakfast package and it was made to order! Delicious pancakes, french toast and more. The staff were fantastic from the cleaning staff to the front desk. The only issue was the air conditioning in my room which didn't seem to work all the time. It started working the day I left.
We enjoyed our stay primarily because of our interaction with Donna at the check in desk. My wife had been lamenting that she wished she had an apple and when I came in after parking the car she had one. Donna had given Wendy her apple that she had not eaten that day. She was delightful and took great care of us.
The manager was pleasant. The staff I came in contact so far is also nice. The beds are comfortable. Even then pull out couch bed.Tiny bathrooms, carpet stained, smelled funny in my non smoking room. A.C. is loud,so loud. No continental breakfast. And NO MICROWAVE OVEN IN THE ROOMS. Even cheap seedy motels have microwaves. They can do so much better. If you are on th 5th floor you have to go to the 1st floor lobby to warm up some food. By the time you get back to your room your food is not hot anymore. The free WiFi didnt work for me. The pool and hot tub is nice also. Only thing free here is the lemon water and open tray of cookies in the 1st floor lobby.
They were just a little bit more expensive than other hotels, but they are leaps and bounds ahead of the competion. I hate to order room service, but i was tired and did. Not only was I happy, I was thrilled. I ordered basic food, it was great. I had a full meal for less than 15.00 and it was great. I would stay here everytime I come to town. If you spend 10.00 more for your stay, between the pool, the service, and the food, well worth it.
I never made it in the door.Jasmine claimed no rooms were available doubt that parking lot was quite empty.I am s victim of flood damage. So don't go dirty or tired or needy they won't take ur money.very disappointed.profiling.
The hotel is nice but not superb. The hotel itself is clean but the rooms are in need of an upgrade as they are showing their age. The carpet in the rooms are dirty looking and stained and the windows could use a good cleaning. There were also leftover animal hairs on the carpet from whoever was in the room last, and the handle to turn on the water for the shower was so rusted you couldn't even turn it without 2 hands. I also wasn't a fan of the lady at the front desk, she was nice but had one of those personalities that make you feel like she is better than you. But the hotel itself is nice, the pool area is great too. Overall it wasn't a horrible experience but I wasn't overly impressed either.
Staff is amazing. So friendly it hurts. Room is nice. No paintings at allnot that that matters. The air conditioning unit in our room may as well have had a mister attached. More humid inside than out.
Nice rooms and good remodel. Small issues with rooms bathroom too small for a large person and no microwaves to warm food but cleanliness and customer service was redeeming.
Very average. Remodeled hotel, where they missed a few things. Still a solid value. Would stay again after I checked other locations.
Best hotel on US-1. Clean rooms nice breakfast and great people.
Friendly staff and nice pool at this otherwise run of the mill Holiday Inn makes it worth a stop.
The corner location and good signage makes this easy to find driving down Route 1.
In the rooms it is hard to find convenient spots for recharging portable electronic devices. It would be nice if they changed the desk and bedside lamps to include lamps with outlets on the base of the lamp.
I came here to stay for New Years. Eve and I absolutely loved the Hotel! This should've been a 4 star hotel at best. The front desk lady was very nice. The Pool had a Waterfall which was very beautiful. Loved this Hotel! :D
