DO NOT book an event at this venue. They will do everything they can to get your deposit. This venue is beautiful and one-of-a-kind in Arizona which makes it very easy to hand over your money. DO NOT.
The venue IS CLOSING permanently in May. There is no guarantee that they will actually stay open to host your event or care about the quality of your event. You will lose your money and end up heartbroken about your venue choice.response / report this review -

Beautiful place with great food. Not by any means cheap. Frequented by the upper crust! Menu very exclusive and very expensive. Reservations are important and this place is stuck well away from town. Terrific views and very high up. Not difficult to get to but a taxi is suggested and be sure to make a booking for the return journey because you won't get an UBER out there.

The food and the service were excellent! Our waiter was super friendly and gave great menu recommendations. Their short rib pasta special was out of this world! The atmosphere was very comfortable and intimate. I’m sad their closing in June of 2018 so hopefully we’ll be back before they close up!

I go to Scottsdale often for business and my friends and I always find an evening to enjoy Sassi. The food, ambience, view and service keep us returning over and over. Love this restaurant! Went again last night and had another exceptional dining experience!

I attended a vow renewal ceremony here. The food and service were absolutely top notch.
The entire "campus" was custom designed to look and feel like Tuscany and provide for every occasion. There os main dining area, as well as, cozy private rooms, medium sized rooms, conference rooms, event ballrooms, and a cozy medium sized bar. They really nailed it. Sassi is one of the most beautiful wedding venues in the Valley, bar none. You have to come visit if you're getting married. An elegant place with lots of great architectural details, nestled among the boulders Pinnacle Peak. I am biased, since I have been playing guitar here for weddings for over a decade!

Went to dinner with my wife , we were so disappointed with the service and especially the food .
First , I was told we would have a seat with a view , our view was 10 plus men , one who was on his cell phone most of the evening , another one using his cell phone light to read the label on the wine bottle , the light was shining into my eyes !
Asked for pepper was brought two empty pepper shakers .
Asked for 4 olives in my martini got 3 not a big deal .
Now why we are so very dissatisfied , Flat Champagne , came by only once to fill the water glasses , empty clam shells and no clams in the bowl , brussel sprouts were dry , the whole dining experience was very disappointing it ruined our special evening .

I came here from a wedding, which I know is probably different than going to the actual restaurant. However, I cannot rave enough about the food. Usually wedding food is blah and dry. NOT this wedding. OMG, the chicken was amazing, the beef whatever it was, was AMAZING. Everything was so tender and delicious. We had a salad which was excellent, a penne alla vodka patas, also excellent (they had a gluten free option too!). Everything was amazing. The wedding was beautiful. it was raining and everything seemed to be seamless. Highly recommend!!

This place was dissappointing. The location as well as the architectural style and landscaping were done beautifully but in the end its the caring, service oriented employees that turn a beautiful wedding venue into an extraordinary memorable wedding experience. They failed at every aspect of attention to detail and personable experience. Their focus was clearly financial, and what a shame to shine that through rather than their services.

Fabulous decor, excellent and extensive wine list, several separated and intimate dinning rooms, each with its own fireplace. Valet parking. Eclectic menu.
