Had the crab puffs and the duck, both were very good; the service was great and the food came out quickly!

Since Bangkok was sold to the current owners I've tried it at least 3 times. The dishes are not as flavorful and it seems they have cut back on the richness of the coconut milk in their curry dishes. I used to order the The new owners Green Curry chicken dish is watered down coconut milk and not as flavorful. They also neglected to ask me how spicy I wanted my dish.
Bangkok Cafe used to be my favorite Thai restaurant. Not anymore. :(response / report this review -

Read reviews about the owner in Alot of places turn over in staff. This review is for the chefs and the wait staffwho always do a fantastic job..despite the bad reviews i honestly love the chef, always consistant between dishes.
If the owner sucks then maybe more people neef to approach that, giwever the staff and food are excellent. Keep them happy, anf all your customers are happy :)response / report this review -

The green curry was a good level of spice, but the curry itself was watered down. Curry is supposed to have a thicker consistency but it was obvious they cut the coconut milk with a lot of water. $13 for subpar curry is ridiculous.

This is the best Thai restaurant in Tucson. The food is spectacular (I love the green curry fried rice #41 and the pad see ew #25). It's also a nice atmosphere. But the service is pretty slow and the food is pretty expensive relative to other local Thai places like Karuna's, so I can't give it 5 stars. Still, I've eaten here many times and I highly recommend this place.

We have eaten here for years but likely will not be going back again. Went for a meal tonight and one of our plates a Pad Thai tasted awful - seemed like it was missing an ingredient. Reported it and got a very inadequate response from the manager. Did not seem to want to fix it and when the bill came they offered no discount or the like. Now because they were so cheap they will not get our business again. Sometimes it amazes me that business owners just don't get it. Our server was good and other meals were fine but we will choose another place next time we want to eat Thai.
