A secret gem in Tucson. Stunning beauty very much worth a visit. Numerous well kept trails guide you through botanical beauty with descriptive placards identifying plants, trees and bushes. Docents are well versed in various fauna and a joy to talk with. Benches are plentiful. Phenomenal place to take a book and check out amidst pure beauty. Restaurant onsite is incredible and certainly chef made and inspired.

Not sure why it took me so long to come here since moving to Tucson but I thought this place is amazing. I love the fact that they have kept the saguaro trail unpaved and natural so that you can experience it as it is. The hummingbirds here are used to be around people so they are easier to be observed closely. You can also get cacti and succulents at their nursery to grow in your garden. They also planted some Desert milkweed for the migratory monarch butterfly and track them for research purposes. The park bistro has nice outdoor seating that is perfect for weekend brunch. I heard the bistro used to serve high tea. Wish they bring it back one day!

Lovely and well laid out botanical garden with a desert theme. Knowledgeable docents to answer questions. There's a very nice greenhouse and garden shop as well, and an inviting bistro. Also an art gallery. Great place to spend a couple of hours.

Tohono Chul Part has some of the most beautiful gardens in Tucson. You will find all local cactus and plants. You will also see other non-native cactus plants from other regions of Central and South America. This is the place if your interested in taking nice pictures with beautiful back ground scenery. They have well kept architectural along with the gardens. Every second week of November, they have free entrance and a Guatemalan Arts and Craft sales.

We adore this place so much more than meets the eye upon arrival. An amazing bistro, though walking after eating was difficult because it was so delicious & we ate so much. I suggest splitting if not too hungry. Large beautiful portions, yummy drinks & setting. The park has gorgeous flora, fauna, art, classes, lectures you name it. We became members on our first visit. Tohono Chul Park is an absolute jewel.

We came for brunch at the restaurant Absolutely fantastic! Service was wonderful, very attentive and knowledgeable. The server suggested the chicken and waffles, not something I would normally consider but took her suggestion. Delicious! Everything my party ordered was wonderful! Can't wait to go back!

Great time many different items and free shows and short lectures. Plant life and desert live. Great for a wedding. People the volunteers were very nice they wanted you know that they cared and pleased that you came out to the park.great time.

I recommended to two friends that we lunch at the Garden Bistro yesterday. It was their first time. I had been there once and loved the food, and servers are so polite and welcoming, and the old brick house with local paintings and art is so charming and cozy. Garden Bistro did not disappoint!! Interesting selections on their lunch menu all incorporate locally grown veggies into each dish, including the green chili waffles served with a fresh fruit syrup they make on site. All the portions are large enough to share or take some home in a doggie bag. Their home made desserts are the best around--You cannot leave without having a dessert. They too are big enough to share. The key lime pie is the real thing, and the chocolate truffle cake served with mixed berries is so rich and wonderful.

Love this place. I'm a newbie from California and don't know very much about the desert. Besides being very interesting, having a great restaurant and art and curio shops, this non-profit has huge (impossible to see in one day) botanical​ gardens that are like a real-life desert climate, plant and animal encyclopedia for us. We got the one year membership and will be going back soon.

An amazing oasis in an area that is rapidly being transformed into pavement, housing and shopping locations. It's both a reminder of what was and a way to still be there. It's good for the soul and not a bad place to get some exercise either. When I get visitors, this is where I take them first.

Whoever gave this a bad review is probably not that familiar with our Sonoran desert. "Cactus in disarray" - wtf? This park is a precious little gem! Anyone who wants to learn more about desert wildlife, botany and art will love it. (Lovely little art gallery, too.) The grounds are kept impeccable. Go see Tohono Chul and especially bring your out of state visitors-you won't be disappointed.

This place is the worst. All the reviews here have to be employees. Even at $10 not worth it. The cactus were in disarray and not kept up. The place looked like they were just setting it up. I hear the cafe is nice but didn't try it. For someone who's been to lots of different botanical gardens I would definitely pass on this one. Worst part of my vacation.

Gorgeous park! One of my favourite places we visited during our Tucson trip. We saw a hummingbird nest and Cooper's hawks. Nice walking trails. We ate breakfast at the bistro in the hummingbird garden and the food was excellent.
