This place never disappoints whatsoever. Highly recommend, the service is top notch and the food a delicious. Sharing the goodness is the key.
My very very very favorite restaurant on the island. Tapas and delicious salads. Always a fun dessert on special. No meal goes down better without a pitcher of red or white sangria for the table. I recommend the beef tenderloin with the bkue cheese butter topper. Best piece of meat in Key West hands down. The saganaki is also one of my favorites. Makes for a nice show during dinner when they light the brandy on fire! This is my go to spot when I have company in town and it is always deemed as the "best restaurant they've ever eaten at" Check it it!!!
Fiance took me here for my birthday, we couldn't get enough of each plate! The sangria was also very refreshing. We sat outside with friends and had a wonderful evening. Cannot wait to go back.
Love this place! Every time we are here, we make it a point to go there. We think it's the best food in Key West, and there's a lot of great food! Tapas, but large portions, easy to share. Really a top-notch restaurant! Great waiters and service. Truly you must go there to appreciate it! Awesome Happy Hour too!
Another excellent meal at this great restaurant. We always pay a visit each time we're in Key West. Service was good without being intrusive. When we asked for some ice on the side for our white wine as we thought it wasn't quite cold enough, the cooler it was in was immediately exchanged for an ice bucket. We chose 5 different dishes between the two of us which was ample. As we had chosen all from the hot tapas menu, they were brought to us in pairs (then the last one) which ensured we didn't end up eating hot food gone cold. The food itself was beautiful, well seasoned and, where appropriate, well spiced. Very happy to recommend. Our only error was ordering two desserts when one to share would have sufficed.
First night open after nearly a month's refurb on kitchen and partially the seating area. Food was excellent: typical tapas and the sangria was outstanding. Acoustics is occasionally hard to deal with, especially when some of the customers made more than their fair share of noise - possibly linked to the drinkable sangria. Overall, a great place.
Hands down my favorite place for food and drink in Key West. Best wine selection in town. Best bartender as well. Fernando is awesome. Pear and avocado salad is always amazing. The lamb is delicious. Saganaki is a must.
Incredible food. Wonderful service. Must try beef tacos- the best taco I've ever had. Bread pudding was also amazing. A must try in key west.
Really good. As i was looking what couple next to us ordered it all looked good , ours was really good. Things with a twist , done well. Right up my alley. Try it. Wait staff good too. Wanted more lol.
Santiago's is a must-visit restaurant each time we're in Key West. The chef is highly skilled; even though it's always busy and you may wait, the preparation and flavors are so good it's worth the time. We're down to the Keys once or twice a year, yet Santiago's never seems stale or over-familiar, rather more like the place you want all your life celebrations to happen at.
Tapas-style dining and portions with vegetarian and vegan options, cold and hot dishes. A salad and three plates were plenty of food for a hungry couple after walking all day. Desserts are a short list, but be sure to leave room as they're among the best components of a very fine menu.
The staff are well-informed about the menu and wine list; their recommendations were spot-on for our tastes; service leaves nothing to be desired. The interior is dim and cosy, yet you won't be bumping elbows even at the bar. Local artists' work on the walls is a very pleasing, harmonious addition. Great romantic dinner location. There's some outdoor seating, but this may not be comfortable unless you're well adapted to the tropical island temperatures.
Unbelievable service, food and atmosphere. Our bartender was great. Beef tenderloin, smoke salmon, etc. was all delicious. Tapas is great so you can try a little of everything. 5 plates to share was perfect, then bread pudding to finish it all off was out of this world.
Wow. The flavors! Each plate a small portrait of perfection. I do not typically provide reviews, but this was worth taking the extra step. If you have the chance to visit Santiago's, I doubt you will regret it. Yum. Next time we're in the Keys, we'll be back. Not cheap, but no regrets, worth the money and more!
my boyfriend made reservations here The morning of my birthday, and after a great birthday in the sun; We were so hungry come 930. We came early to the restaurant and we were sort of dismissed or ignored. I was patient for about 30 minutes then became very upset as now my birthday dinner had been ruined. I have children and it wasn't easy for us to plan this "dinner". My boyfriend ordered at the bar; we were never seated. No one ate. We paid. We tipped. We left very disappointed. As a local bartender I will no longer recommend this restaurant. In fact I will never forget it.
Didn't need a reservation for 2pm lunch. The food was incredible! The brussel sprouts were SUPERB I wish I ordered more to-go. The salads are also HUGE and delicious.
Don't even think about going without a reservation, but well worth it. Great homemade sangria and good beer selection. We LOVED all our tapas selections except for the cerviche. (And I'm a big cerviche lover.) The meatballs were really good; and the short ribs were incredible. Nice art. Relaxed feel. Lots of fun.
