I went last night and had an awesome evening! Drinks were on point, I got 'naughty', the naan stop app was very good, and the grouper was phenomenal!! Our server, I'm so sorry, I can't recall her name, was awesome! Great smile, very knowledgeable, and efficient!! We didn't want for anything, she was great!! Highly recommend Shades!!

Excellent burger, very good food. Excellent service. Best place to watch football on a Saturday and Sunday with NFL ticket.
They always have a nice special.

The place is nicely laid out and the food is excellent. I had a bowl of the gumbo and while listed as an appetizer, was a full meal for me. It was delicious. Food prices are reasonable, considering it is on the edge of 30A. I really like this place and wish I came more often.

Great sports bar with wonderful service. Chicken nachos are a must but you might want to share them with someone, it's a huge portion. Have many of the college flags hanging in there from all over the United States, fun to see all of them.

I have to go 5 star which is very rare for me. This place surprised me. The food is excellent! We were blown away, very surprised to find excellent food. Their flatbread pizza was awesome, burgers etc. This place is a definite must eat at while down at the beaches.

We love this restaurant! We go there anytime we're on the west end of Panama City Beach since it has great food and what woman would not want to go to a place that is predominantly male customers?

one of the least expensive places on 30A. (and thats a good thing) If you want outstanding beer selections, TV's and ordinary good food at a good price ( did I say Football games?) GO here. I go at least once every time im down here.

Large bar. Good selection of beer and liquor. Wings are great. Lots of table seating as well as outside seating.

This was the worst experience I have EVER had at a bar/food establishment. Shades doesn't even deserve 1 star in my opinion. The manager has poor customer service skills and obviously needs more training. Yelling out customers last names at the bar from their ticket, refusing to serve someone because they didn't tip the previous time before. Tipping is an OPTION. That is why there is a little line there for you to have the option to leave a tip. Horrible service. When I found out the manager's name I will be calling him out on here and on every review page out there.The manager's name was James. I'm now calling you out, James.

Short version: Great service, great food! The servers are nice and attentive, and refilled everything (chips for cheese dip and our drinks) without us finishing even half of them. Food was awesome. Great beer menu.

Trip 1: Wife had the fish tacos and LOVED them. They had the macaroni my daughter likes and fruit option instead of fries. I had the special which was an enormous fajita chicken and steak burrito with refried beans. Everything was delicious. I'm not a seafood person, but even i thought the fish tacos were tasty.

Trip 2: wife got the volcano shrimp based on recommendations from some friends, and it was incredible. I hate shrimp, but this stuff was really good. I got a burger, which was solid. Fries were good. Kid got the same macaroni as always :)

Great beer menu, too, for the beer drinkers in your group, with tasting flights available to customize. Lots of local breweries represented. All around great experience both times we went!
