The golf course is nice. The resort is a maze. Keep your map and guest pass handy.

The resort itself is very nice. Beautiful beaches and grounds. There staff is great for the most part. Good security. There shuttle drivers are the worst. Cut you off drive erratically and yell at you for their issues.

Beautiful Resort very tastefully designed and put together in every way. I've seen a lot of Public/Private resport complexes and this is a very well thought out setup overall.

24 hour check-in was much needed after arriving near midnight. Room was clean and set, then Baytown Wharf right within walking distance is very nice. A lot to do around here.

Four things you should know : 1 - Walls are pretty thin so you can hear a lot of activity from adjacent rooms. 2 - Maintenance is fair. Many things in need of repair in the unit. Grounds are good in some areas, worn and dirty in others. 3 - While I am a dog lover, Sandestin can be accurately described as a giant dog park. Almost everyone in the building we stayed in had one or more dogs. Every tree, bush and patch of grass in the complex is a dog bathroom, and not all of the dogs are well behaved when it comes to barking. 4 - The extra fees are more than typical. Add 25-30% to the advertised price.

Had a blast playing The Links at Sandestin Golf Resort. The course was beautiful with great views of the bay and water in play on many of the holes. It offers many challenges, particularly if you play under windy conditions.

I was highly disappointed in our condo and the resort as a whole. I feel like the website misrepresents the appearance of the beach condos and whats included in the resort. Our room was dirty upon arrival, and thoroughly needs to have a deep cleaning. It was very, very small and old! It looked as if they tried to update, but it still looked dated and was very small. Very minimal items in the kitchen. tiny washer/dryer. No hot tub, no indoor pool and only one small pool at our condo. I was totally let down, and will not return!

The property is beautiful. It's a little difficult to navigate when you first arrive. We missed the turn in for registration and had to turn around. The Wharf is great, but needs more parking. The first night we had to park in their "additional parking" area, which was a big, not very well lit field, and since it had rained, it was quite muddy. Use the tram services when you can. Definitely makes things easier!

What can I say? Everything you'd want in a resort. All the amenities, beautiful views, great food. Had a wonderful trip and plan on going back.

We stayed at Luau Tower 1 and had a great view from our room. The room was HUGE because our friend upgraded us last second as a wedding gift.

Spent 4 days at the Grand Sandestin. Parking is provided underground, tight for the area, but adequate for those residing at the hotel. Security is okay; you must posses a room key to get by the lift gate. Service is pretty standard. Some is at the desk 24/7 and our experience with those individuals is that they are generally helpful and willing to provide answers. Ammenities are top notch. The pools were clean and well designed, the beaches clean and beautiful, fitness center provided at least the minimum to get an adequate workout in. In the end, I would recommend staying here, regardless of the hotel you stay in. There are multiple under the umbrella of "Sandestin Beach and Golf Resort". Each has their pluses and minuses. The Grand Sandestin was worth it and will be returning.

THIS RESORT IS UNSAFE!! Not only did somebody break into my room, but they don't allow you onto the tram without a room key. When my 15 year old was ready to come back to the room, since her brother had the only key and had left 30 minutes earlier, they made my daughter walk home in the pitch dark! No effort was made to call the resort, no just allow a young girl to walk home by herself, including crossing a 4 lane road. Since the resort allows anybody in at night, the security is non-existing! For your safety, DO NOT STAY AT THIS RESORT!!
