Very bad experience. The location and actual apts are very nice but the staff and maintenance need a complete make over. Responses are really delayed and I wouldn't recommend one to put in refundable deposit (you wont get the money back). When questioned about the charges, they sent me pics from a completely different unit.. Terrible experience!!

Mark-Taylor group has made this community to dumpster.

Here are "SOME" list of problems with this community.
• Maintenance request will be addressed (after rigorous follow-ups) within 1-2 months
• Half knowledge office staff. For everything, you will get “I DON’T KNOW” response
• Gym and Pool was kept under maintenance for 6 months (during summer)
• Gym equipment’s were too old and you never know when they will break
• No proper lighting within the community which leads to series of robberies
• No Private Security to monitor suspicious activities during Night hours
• Homeless people will roam sometimes within the community
• Apartments are full of cockroaches and bed bugs. The inspection team will visit once in every month and resolve these problems temporary.
Finally, you will not get what you pay here.

They are very baaaaaaaaad don't go for them, they are selfish and they suck the money, the people packages are lost in their hell office, they don't understand people situations and don't care about the safety..

They will return your packages if you don't pay
They charge 250$ to get packages
They charge 50$ if you late one day
They don't understand people situations
Very bad place to live

Used to be good with Laramar Management couple of years back , now it's all about theft , burglary , booze , smoke like a Night club. Resident security is now a joke , Mark Taylor management does not care. All they care about is $.

I am a current resident, moved in a month ago. Poor maintenance and lot of security issues here. New apartment handed over to me and in 3 weeks, I had to call emergency twice for water flooding and AC. And, already half a dozen maintenance requests. TAT for requests are very slow.. may take a month. Already regret picking this out.

October 2017
As informed by earlier tenants about theft, which I ignored, my apartment was burglarized when I was away from state. Office folks won't fix my lock or broken window for 3 days allowing free access to robbers during that time. And, this is 3rd of 5 thefts happened during last month or so in this community.

Crystal is most courteous and friendly staff at leasing office. She has been very accommodating and helpful. If it had not been for her, the move in for my friend would have been a nightmare. This review is getting a high rating only because of her.

With all the worst reviews San Valiente and the new Mark Taylor management has got, it can't get worse. The place near to the swimming place has become the new place for mosquito and other insects breeding. This is causing lots of health issues and the mosquitoes spreading inside all the apartments. The complaints to the management go into deaf ears. The simple fix would have been to cut the branches in the trees in that area, so the Sun rays can evaporate the water there and please stop water spraying for few days. This could have been taken care when this problem was reported back in Feb and in April, but this has become ridiculous now. Stay safe and away from this apartment guys. Expensive but they can`t fix an important hygiene issue. Guys how to report this issue to safety/health departments so they can review the situation here and take action?

I enjoyed my time there. Most people can't say that. Very nice office staff and efficient maintenance staff. I have never had a problem with work orders here. The local area surrounding the complex is not good. There are thefts, and security issues, but that's anywhere within a 5 miles radius of there. Mark Taylor has been building the complex up from the mishaps of old management. I say good job to all the staff there and recommend San Valiente to anyone.

A local vocational school holds apartments here for some of their students. First, they must be the crappiest apartments they have. Mark-Taylor apartments usually are decently maintained. They had no drip pans on the stove, ripped carpet, a hole in the ceiling and the place was super hot all the time. I mean I get that they are skeptical of barely adult kids being there, but still. The worst part - the crime. This is supposed to be a gated community and while that is a false sense of security, it should give you some reassurance. Each boy in this apartment has had their cars broken into. This morning, a car was stolen. Get an apartment here if you have no choice - and lock all your stuff up.

We lived at San Valiente until last week, we moved to NC. I have to say excellent service, experience and great place to live.New management is doing well. Kristin Miller is the property manager and address any concern immediately and in a efficient way. Maintenance crew thumbs up!! I would recommend this place.

I started my move in process as the old management was leaving and Mark Taylor began taking over. As far as the reviews go referencing the old management, they are 100% correct. They made everything difficult and were so rude to the point that I did not want to move in. Luckily Mark Taylor management stepped in and made things a lot easier. Their reps are way nicer and seem genuine. The gates are broken and maintenance is backed up, but they've only been here a month and they're still trying to fix everything the previous management didn't. So far I have no complaints and I really love it here. Only negative thing I've experienced so far would be residents with staring problems.
