Went for a work Christmas party. Underwhelmed by the prospect of $11 well drinks or $7 Budweiser. I know that's common for resorts. It's probably also common to have people partying in the room next door until 3 am, which happened to us as we tried to sleep in very uncomfortable beds. The views at night are nice and if money was no object and we went in the summer and the atmosphere was more lovely I might feel differently.

I attended a professional event at the JW Marriott Star Pass Resort and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. The rooms are so nice, robes are provided too! Facilities and rooms for our conference were all so nice. Made my stay so nice that I will be taking my family back some day.

Friendly staff, clean facility, great signage and easy to find. The staff checked on us multiple times to ensure we had everything we needed and we're satisfied. There was plenty of signage, so the conference room was easy to find.

Beautiful setting, but restaurant choices poor. Didn't "stay" here, so I cannot vouch for room quality. Hospitality service was very good while I attended a two-day training. Closest outside eatery was 3 miles away. If you're looking for isolation, this is the place.

Very pleasant atmosphere, And courteous staff. Especially the guys in the car valet. They were courteous and helpful anything and anytime I needed to go to my car for something they were there to help. House services were also very helpful and courteous. Me and my wife had dinner at the hotel restaurant Primo. And the food and service was excellent.
We will definitely be making return visits. It was a great weekend getaway.

Came here for the golf course, which is fantastic. Everything top notch in that experience. Takes at least 4 hours to play 8, so be prepared. However, I did also take a peek around the hotel. It's a JW without question, and despite that I live 15 minutes away, I'll probably get away with my wife or golfing buddies one of these days. The views alone are worth it

Place was pick by vendors - excellent in every scenario!!
3 or 4 restaurant on property- great chef in signature grill !
We did not visit others so I can't comment.
Valet, bell man , front desk, cleaning team - top notch!! Friendly and efficient - granted I did not have any special requests
    Great pool area and bars

Best feature for us - bike rental shop on property. Very convenient and equipped( they will give you backpack with co2 , extra tubes ( we had one flat tire) , pump and water!!
Giant bikes on rental ( decent quality ) we used them for 4 days. Read about cactus trees and be careful about some - we had some issues with Cholla Cactus - it kind of jump on you if you too close to it!!

So beautiful! We met the nicest people! Everyone was so polite and kind! Front desk staff were also very helpful! Our room was clean and the bed was so comfortable. They have a variety of restaurants. We had dinner at the Catalina Restaurant. They serve big portions and all very delicious! They also have this big patio that out sees the pool area and on Friday night they played live music. When it gets dark the lights look so beautiful. Overall we had an amazing stay! Thank you!!

Beautiful hotel Resort on the West side of Tucson with great views of the city. The hotel is clearly a bit older, but the rooms are updated and are well maintained. The layout of the facility is a bit confusing and access to certain areas is only available via the main floor. Overall though, a great stay.

Absolutely beautiful Resort in a amazing area. Beautiful view and very nice patio area. Now the downside: it took forever to get checked in as my key didn't work not once but twice. Then they try to put me in a different room that had a much less desirable view and several floors up. I asked to wait for the original room lock to be fixed and then I took it later. The food in the restaurants of the hotel is just downright unacceptable. For the price you pay for the meals here it should be much higher in quality but I did not have a decent meal the entire stay. The room was very comfortable although the air conditioning had a hard time keeping up but outside of that a very nice room. Outside of the check-in experience and if I could eat anywhere else but here this was a nice stay.

This location is amazing, up in the mountains surrounded by cactus you find your self around a few pools and awesome views. The water is amazing and the food is fantastic. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable and make recharging nice and easy. Downtown Tucson is only a short drive away and the hotel has a shuttle service but I am not sure how far it goes. Food is great and the service is amazing. My wife and I stayed here with our 8 month old son for 3 nights and will be back again as this place is nice just to get away from everything and truly relax.

My wife and I came here for our 10 year anniversary. Our two nights were great. The resort atmosphere is wonderful . From experience we avoid the resort for breakfast as the prices are outrageous, but the others meals are OK. The pools are great and the patio is wonderful at night. We got a suite upgrade and love the privacy of the rooms as well as the view of the Tucson mountains. The beds are amazing and the walk in shower is a nice touch. We will continue to make this our oasis destination.
