Well It has been about 6 years since I have gone back to this location. And for the better surprise the dealership has improved.
I bought my vehicle from Cavender for 38.9k, they offered me 38.5k for trade in with 49K+ Miles on my vehicle and with the check engine light on! I took the 0.9% Financing offer and traded up to a REBEL. 100k mile warranty plus low financing and I now pay $30-40/mo less on my new work vehicle! These guys are great! Matthew Gerhard was my sales rep!
This guy was communicative, always 1 step ahead of me and providing me with excellent customer service and information. One of the easiest vehicle purchase experiences I have had. Thanks Matt!
Hands down the best dodge dealership I have ever done business with! Nick was my sales man and made the purchase of my new 2020 Charger RT a dream come true! San Antonio CJD not only had the best prices in town but also gave me thousands more for my trade compared to the other Dodge dealerships in SA, Boerne and even New Braunfels. And when it came to negotiating the deal, Nick and his sales Manager were respectful of my time, did not waste my time negotiating high numbers, and instead made me a deal I was happy to take! And to make It an even sweeter deal, Nick and his finance manager, Mo, let me go home and finish the paperwork at hole, then Nick delivered my new Charger to me at home. I truly appreciate the quality of service I received from Nick, Mo and the San Antonio CJD dealership.
Thanks to Mitchelle Hernandez, on August 22nd I purchased my dream car! My overall experience was smooth. Michelle was extremely helpful and not pushy in any way. She explained all the features of my car which later came in handy when it was time to drive off! If I had a question she was quick to address it. As for the car itself, compared to other rates in the area, my car was sold at a fantastic price.
My only complaint of the overall experience was that it took quite some time finalize everything however, I suspect everything is at a snail pace due to COVID! Make sure you go in with ample time, don't go in on a time crunch.
They had a large array of vehicles to choose from and the inside facility is large so we were able to social distance from others. I highly recommend this place!
This place is amazing. I just wanted to shop around for a family car and came across a Jeep that I liked. I didn’t plan on buying anything but I was given an offer I really couldn’t refuse. I was also able to trade in my current vehicle and gave it paid off while lowering the payments for my Jeep. I’m extremely thankful and highly recommend Rep. Jones and his management. They made the process easy.
This is the first ever new car I have ever purchased. I can honestly say that our salesman, Christopher Jones was hands down amazing from day one. I could not have asked for a better experience. From the searching process, to negotiating prices, to after our purchase. He has been hands on and has never once made us feel as though we were burdening him with our questions or concerns. He made sure to handle everything personally for us and made our whole experience absolutely amazing. We never felt pressured into anything and he was always open and completely honest with us. I value that in a salesman and a person. The sales team and also the maintenance team have all been super helpful and friendly. I would recommend them highly.
I just got a text about a safety recall on my car. When I called the number back I was in contact with a rep who initially transferred me to a voicemail. I then called back and spoke to a lady named Debbie. I was told that there is a problem with my airbag and something else and that it needed to be repaired. I explained to her that I work full time and I go to school full time. She huffed and puffed when I tried to explain to her that I work full time and I go to school full time and that it would be hard for me to drop my car of and not have any transportation. The recall is NOT my fault. IF Dodge needs to repair my car because of something defective on their end, shouldn't they be more accommodating? She told me that they could take me to school/workbut shes not sure if someone can pick me up. Most companies offer a loaner carhorrible service!!
Compared to my first buy 2 years ago the dealership has done a 180. Deals were great Chris Jones and Chris in finance were amazing and Todd from Chrysler. I am smiling big loving my new Ram. Check them out you will not be disappointed. They went above & beyond to make me happy.
Took my vehicle here to fix an issue with the heater and all of the staff were extremely polite and professional! Tom was very communicative and kept me updated on what needed to be worked on and when it would be finished! I really appreciate the great customer service that this location has! Would 10/10 recommend!
i was interested in a 2015 dodge big horn 1500 ram truck and and was assisted by a salesman named Giovanni whi was extremely professional and was very patient with my wife and i..he was very informative about these styles of trucks and assured me he would do his best to meet my expectations in this sale..he did. then when pretty much all was about said and done i was then introduced to Kyle who then crunched some numbers for us and had me in my truck that same night!! felt bad for making them stay past closing but this team got the job done..! great staff at this location..!!! thanks guys.
Robert (Foreman) is excellent at letting me know what needs to be repaired now and what repairs can wait. I have become a regular there due to the relationship I have developed with him.
Gilbert (Service Advisor) is very personable and easy to communicate with.
Rolando thoroughly explained everything going on with our vehicle which turned put to be nothing at this time, just needed to be reset. Greatly appreciate his time and honesty. Definitely looking forward to coming back here if we have more questions or issues.
There were many times when Valentin Panayotov would tell people that "the vehicle is still available" just to bring them in. That's what he does. It is one thing when you live close by, now imagine when people drive miles, sometimes hours away, and as soon as they get there - *surprise* he says "The car has just been sold, but *double surprise* I can find you another vehicle". Well I do not need another vehicle, you told me that the one I wanted was available. What a liar. Trust me he would do anything just to get you through the door and then waste your time and money. On the other hand -he does not like to have his own time wasted, ironically, and would cuss behind your back once you "have a nerve" not to buy from him and just walk away.
Another thing, he will seem friendly and such a good pal, even buddy to you. Keyword - "seem". His honesty level is zero. Pure liar. Even if he knows what's wrong with this the car he would never tell you, just to get the car sold.
He can sell, definitely, cannot doubt that. The problem is- he will sell you everything he can sell, diamonds or lemons, he does not care about future referrals. Once the deal is done -it's done and he moves on. What he needs to understand is that everything will eventually go back to him. I have never met a salesperson more conniving and hypocritical than Valentin and I will never recommend him to anyone I know.
And the last but not the least -do not get carried away by so many 5 star reviews you see about him - that's because he asks people to write them.
I took my 16 year old daughter in to look for her first car (with an extremely limited budget). There was no pressure from sales staff and Chris and Cody treated us as if we were purchasing the most expensive vehicle on the lot when we in fact may have purchased the least expensive vehicle from the used car section. They made the deal work within our budget. I am very appreciative of their willingness to work with us in such a friendly and professional manner. I would definitely go to there again to purchase a vehicle and I recommend anyone else that is looking to buy a car go to SA Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep
I would like to give the company the benefit of the doubt, but there were far too many complications that occurred, and my Jeep left the shop in worse condition than I brought it in. My integrity was also questioned by a service team member. This is the short of it. If you're interested in hearing more, read on.
I brought in my 2007 Jeep Compass with a headlight out in early June. Needing its yearly inspection, I replaced the light myself, but it still didn't work. I then looked up the fuses online, but it directed me to modules that needed to be programmed. So, I brought it in to get it all done; inspection and all.
When I brought the car up, they took down my information. Gilbert was the man I worked with, and he seemed kind enough. He walked me through pricing for diagnostics, etc. and I was on my way with a phone call being promised in the afternoon. He never called. When I finally called him back, he seemed a little put out and told me he had been calling me. I then found out he took my number down wrong. No big deal, but still not great to be lightly reprimanded about.
I was then told it would take a little under $600 for the light, labor, and an additional issue covered by the warranty with the seals on the axels. I knew it'd be a chunk, so I told him to go ahead knowing the Jeep wouldn't pass inspection if I didn't. The Jeep was promised to be done the following day, which worked out great for out timing as we were leaving for 2 months out of state the day after it was set to be complete.
When I got in touch with them again, I was told the parts didn't come in, so we delayed our trip a day. This proved to be fruitless, because--when I called again--they still didn't have the parts in. We lost a day of our vacation, but again, I want to believe the best of things.
We made plans for them to deliver the Jeep to our house while we were away, and while I picked up the keys that were still on the ring (we needed them while we were gone) from the service manager, Aaron, I found out that my phone number on file was still incorrect. I'm not going to give out a wrong phone numberespecially since It's been my number for around 15 years. I remained optimistic.
The story continues in the attached picture, and was too lengthy for this review. The Better Business Bureau is also being contacted.
From the moment we got out of our car we were greeted by Angel who was courteous and did not pressure us. He was informative and knowledgeable. This was the most painless purchase we have ever made and we would do business with them again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend!
We recently purchased a 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee from this dealership. First time we've been to a dealership where the sales associates weren't aggressive. We pulled up the lot and was greeted by Matt Hernandez. Very professional and polite. He asked what we were interested and we told him. He showed us several models but did not try to cram the sale down our throat. His salesmanship style is what ultimately made us want to purchase from him. When it came to the paperwork it was no pressure either. Once we shook hands to buy we were out of there in under an hour. I highly recommend seeing Matt for your next Chrysler/Dodge purchase, you will not be disappointed.
I went in as a first time car buyer, and I had no concept of how car buying worked. My idea was to buy the cheapest car with the little cash that I had, just so that I could make it to work and school. I was skepticala that I could be helped, but I was constantly reassured that they could help me. Valentin and Tony spent the evening explaining the process as well as the concepts of APR, Credit, loans, and more. My own bank had given me a horrible APR, so it seemed that all odds were against me. With the situation in mind, they spent the entire next day negotiating with banks to find me the best rate possible for a reliable car and a warranty. It only took a little over 24 hours to get me into my current car with the most amazing package deal ever all due to their painstaking dedication to helping me. Not only do I love my car, but I feel safe and secure in my purchase. I feel like I was treated like a friend as opposed to a random client, and that I was really taken care of as an individual. I highly recommend this business.
Our Service Advisor, Rolando is very good at explaining & recommending what needs to be done with my van. He's very professional & courteous & updates us often on what's happening when it's in service. I know that whenever I bring in my van, he'll ensure it's taken care of like his own. He ensures it runs smoothly & we trust him completely! He most definitely deserves a promotion & a raise for his outstandingly excellent customer service skills!!! Rolando is the reason we keep coming back!
I cant speak for others, but as someone who absolutely hates the car buying experience and sitting in a dealership. I can honestly say this was the best car buying experience I have ever had by a long shot. My sales guy David Rivera was awesome. He a had great attitude and didn't have that typical salesman attitude, it was easy to talk to him and I never felt pressured. Everyone at the dealership seemed nice to me, and my finance guy who's name I cant remember was great also. Honestly everyone I dealt with seems relaxed and easy to talk to. Again I can only speak for myself but if you if your looking at buying a new car I would definably give them a try at least. Ask for David Rivera, he was my sales guy and he was easy to talk to and had great attitude.
