Salon East is a gem for the small town of Hartford. I drove by so many times before I realized it was a full service salon. First time there was for a manicure with Bridget, she turned my nails from frumpy to making me feel like a lady. The free hand designs she adds are very creative and the hand massage is a great bonus. Her welcoming smile and personality made me want to return. My next visit was for a massage with Kim. She made me feel comfortable from the minute I met her. She has a calming demener that melts away the stress. My full body massage left me feeling like I was on cloud nine. I now schedule a 30 minute massage every 3 eeeks. My 3rd service at Salon East was with Denise for a "new" hair style and highlights. Denise listened to me when I described the cut I was looking for and the results were spot on. My cut and highlight results made me realize that Salon East is "my" salon going forward they are friendly, professional and the gem of salons in Hartford.

I went thought I made myself clear of the hair color & highlights I was expected. Came out 3 hours later & paid $250 & absolutely hate my hair. Looks nothing like I wanted it & can't even see the highlights I asked for more ribbon looking ones not the tiny ones I got. First & last time I will ever go there. I have never ever paid that much to come out of a place very disappointed. I rather go back to Pure Aveda Salon & Spa. Where they make sure I'm happy & they don't over charge me.

I have yet to leave Salon East disappointed. From all the different types of services I have had done, from cut and color to bridal styling to eyelash extensions, I would rate each 5 stars! The eyelash services are VERY affordable and well worth it, they were put on with care and lasted a long time. McKenna did a great job of answering any questions I had. At the beautiful Salon East the staff knows you by name, and takes time to understand the services you need!

The best salon around. What I like about the people there is how professional and knowledgeable they are. They are always taking classes to stay on top of the latest trends and products. Had a facial yesterday with the new facial line from Aveda Amazing!!! Best one I have ever had done.

Can't wait to have my hair cut colored and my nails done in two weeks!!!

Sara S our stylist at Salon East is amazing. At the start of the summer; Sara used my daughters ideas on how to color her hair and turned them into such a beautifully fun but tasteful work of art! My daughter was so in love with her color we were back to have the color renewed for the school year. #awesomeschoolpics Sara is personable and fun to work with! We love Sara and Salon East! Thanks Sara for such awesome results ; we will be back.

Salon East offers exceptional service to it's customers! If I could I would give them 10 stars. I will never go anywhere else. Every staff member is phenomenal and makes you feel amazing! Once you walk through the door you are greeted by the staff, offered something to drink, and informed of when the staff is available for your service. While receiving your service the staff always makes sure you are comfortable. Salon East is always very clean and organized, I just love the way they decorated. The owner should be extremely proud of their business! I travel 40 minutes to the salon and it's completely worth it! I recommend Salon East to everyone I meet! Customer for life :)
