I really want to like this Salon, it’s incredibly convenient location-wise but the last 3-4 times I’ve been there it’s been pretty bad. The no-chip manicures usually bubble or my cuticle is cut and I bleed. My pedicure was really bad today, the service provider filed the side of my foot and I now have bandaids all over my heel because it was too rough. They don’t appear to have a break room because all the workers eat their lunches at the front counter and the place smells like take out. The nail colors are all old and I’ve seen them on several occasions dumping acetone in the bottles to thin out the color to make it last longer. For the price I’d expect a much cleaner, upgraded experience by professionals who know what they’re doing and don’t cut my skin every time. It’s unfortunate but I don’t know how much longer this place will be in business, it’s gone down hill.

My first and only experience with polished I went in for a full set. I waited for 45 minutes and when I was finally seated, the nail girl couldnt even pretend to enjoy her job, rude and silent. And then she literally filed me so hard my fingers were actually bleeding next to my nails. And then it cost me 65$ Awful, awful experience. I will never be coming back.

I came for a bridal party a week ago. The workstation was dirty when I sat down. I got gel nail polish, which was expensive, and it is chipped less than a week later. I have never had a gel manicure chip so soon, and I will not be going back. I'll stick with my neighborhood nail place.

I'm not usually one to do ratings, but I feel as though I should warn others I came here with a friend because she had a gift card. Unfortunately, I learned the hard way that this place is definitely way overpriced for the quality service that I received. On top of that, the staff is rude and unwelcoming. I even tried initiating conversation with the woman doing my nails and few times and felt rather rejected. I usually love getting my nails done but I couldn't wait to get out of there ASAP. I took a look at my acrylics after they were done and I've definitely received much better service and a better looking set of acrylics for a way lower cost.

I've visited this establishment multiple times and have loved the service as well as certain tactics that help care for your nails, specifically when it comes to removing acrylic. I'm never one to file a complaint either until today.
Last week I came in requesting a manicure acrylic fill, gel color & pattern design for my birthday. I hate to have to say that it was the worse nail experience I've had to ever deal with. My technician was Edith. I asked if she could complete an ombré or cow print for a patterning (supplying pictures of what I wanted) and she confirmed that she could complete the ombré style based off the picture I showed her. However, she wasn't able to meet the standards so I switched to a cow print style instead. In the process of this, she filed down the acrylic fill on my nails to be super thin and applied the gel color and pattern in a frustrated manner. She rushed to get them completed, resulting in nails falling off within a week of getting them done! I returned and was told the repair would be free. When the same technician saw my nails, she tried getting the establishment to charge me and I immediately felt uncomfortable. She kept claiming that it wasn't her fault. I've had acrylic fills that held together better when done at LyLy Nails at Bayshore. NEVER in my life have I had an acrylic fill break off so easily. When I took my nails to another salon, they also agreed that the acrylic layer was "too thin". I had spend over $100 on repairing nails that were suppose to be a $70 purchase without ANY APOLOGY or attempt to fix the problem for free of charge from Polished Nail Bar.
When I tried reaching out to some figure of authority, the receptionist told me they would take care of it. Today I came in, only to find out that I would be charged for the corrections that they claimed they would "take care of".
7/10 NAILS FELL OFF within a week and a half. I was not given ANY INFORMATION or directed to anyone when I asked for a manager. I was only assured that my message would be "passed along". I walked out today and I'm sorry to say that I will never be returning again.response / report this review -

While quality of service is okay, they really need to learn how to manage appointments. Not only I had to wait 20 minutes till I got the service I had prior appointment for, they also kept taking in walk-ins while I waited. When I got back home I had a "no show" email waiting in my inbox without any reason specified. Not going back.

Had an appointment with Vicky Q. i showed up a little early to pick a color out- she sat me early and finished in 35 mins. the nail salon i previously went to NEVER ran on time and even when i made an appointment i was waiting 20+ mins. not here. my nails look amazing and i loved the atmosphere. will definitely be coming back!

I had my eyebrows threaded by Laura yesterday and they are literally perfect. I've never gotten so many compliments on my brows and will definitely be back to see her again!

Told the nail tech I wanted a full set of acrylics and for the nails to be a little longer but she literally just glued fake nails on my natural nails. Should've just walked out and left but she was too friendly and I couldn't tell her this wasn't what i wanted. Not to mention, the nails came off in two days (a day and a half). Probably won't be going back but they have a nice staff.

This place looks very nice on the surface, but I've found many of Polished's employees are rude/unfriendly. I've often not been able to relax because the employees are goofing around and loudly socializing among themselves, so definitely don't come here if you like a quiet, peaceful environment. I've gotten both manicures and pedicures and they're usually rushed and nothing to get too excited about. I also can't stand the way this place reeks of chemicals.

This nail salon does not want your business. Since I currently work in the service industry, most service businesses will make accommodations to retain and attract customers. Polished Nail Bar will do no such thing. I do not recommend buying gift cards to this establishment because in 1 year they expire and then your money is not valid. Go to a nail salon where the gift cards do not expire.
