Hits the spot time and again! Love Saads. Great food. Great service and best halal cheese steak in Philly
Cozy place for an excellent arabic/meditararian halal food. Their steak n cheese is loaded with beef. At least a pound of meat. On street parking. Only accept cash. They have an atm inside to help. Portions are huge. Nothing wrong with this picture. Go grab a bite.
Best food , clean place for family to eat. and some of the nicest people I have ever met in my entire life. Wish I could give a thousand stars.
Love this place. I originally went to Saad's after over hearing someone else rave about their fish wrap. Since then I have gone several times. The guy was right, their fish wrap is great. Now my co-worker goes there every time we work in the area. So far I have stuck with the same order, but keep meaning to try something else, as everything I see while waiting looks great too. Service is top notch as well. If your in the area looking for a bite, this is a must try.
It is one of my Fav place in East Coast. I love their Philly Cheese Steak. Awesome. Halal quality food with best price. I almost go every weekend.
Great to come back home and enjoy great food and excellent service, as always.
The service was both kind and professional and the atmosphere was very family friendly. I ordered the lamb Shawarma platter with Greek salad and tabouli salad since it comes with 2 sides. The vegetables taste freshly home grown, the lamb rice and sauces all cooked and prepared with perfect texture and taste. I will be back!
One of my favorite places to go. Decent prices, fantastic food. I've never been disappointed.
Two words: Chicken Maroosh. There's a reason this sandwich has a cult following (and it's own t-shirt). But, if you go in to get one, be prepared. They are usually busy and if you don't know how to order, you're going to get run over. Stay to the left to order. The right is for picking up orders that are ready. If you don't know what you want when you get to the counter, step out of line to the left (by the bench) until you've got it all together. Saad is super nice and always has a smile for you but he runs a tight ship so try not to get in the way. (And if it's your first time, Don't go on Friday Night!! That's when the surrounding Mosques are in service. Folks flood in between prayer services. It's a mad house. A friendly mad house, but a mad house none the less.)
Saad is a badly managed restaurant with good food. Reasons: 1) You can't order online. 2) Credit Cards are not accepted. 3) Debit Cards are only accepted on orders above $30. 4) There is only 1 cashier. 5) The restaurant has insufficient tables, meaning you won't find a place to sit. 6) They close during Ramadan. WHAT??? 7) They might not have cheesesteaks, which is what they are famous for.
HOWEVER, if you manage to overlook the shortcomings, frustrations, and Saad's complete disregard for standard business ethic; the food is excellent.
Been having lunch here for 10 years - great cheap food, and lovely people.
Delicious, clean, the idea of seeing the food cooks in front of you make you know how clean this place is. You pack it to yourself of you have any left over.
Eat chicken maroush it's awesome.
I placed an order for pick up i was told i was going to receive a call with my total and i never did.
Food prices didn't match the menu online every item was at least $2 more, when i called back i was told that the online menu it's not theirs but it clearly said "saad" and have their address on it.
Cashier hung up on me after i suggested to update their online menu.
Food was just okay!
Was very disappointed because i really had a taste for middle eastern food
Awesome food only complaint is that they dont accept credit cards for some reason. The wait can be huge as well but I can wait that long for good food. Definitely try it if you are in the area.
Awesome Philly cheese steak. Friendly and fast service. Very clean. Halal..
