The inn itself is an exquisite testament to the value of historic preservation. It's gorgeous! And the inn keepers (Gregory & Joseph) are as delightful as the surroundings. What a truly decadent experience.

I am disappointed I can only give them 5 stars!!! There are SO many reasons to absolutely ADORE this place!!! The thought of a B&B has always unnerved me actually, I do not "people" well. This amazing little place only has a few rooms. We decided to stay 2 nights (my husband & I) on our way from CA to TX my husband being Army it was that time again. On a whim he found this place with a suite that is the same as his name so we kinda HAD to right? Immediately upon checking in after a 12 hour day on the road the 2 inn keepers (Joseph and Greg) were/are just the most AMAZING they got me settled in and the men set off after the bags from the car. Both of these inn keepers ARE keepers. They are the warmest most open guys you could ever meet. I am half in love with them myself after just 2 nights. They are brilliant at facilitating conversation. And the cooking?! Sweet baby Jesus it was beyond words good. I wish I could have them throw my next dinner party!! My husband and I are already negotiating a return visit in March for our 19th anniversary just to stay here with Joseph and Greg as opposed to the TX coastal region. They are the kind of guys you can't NOT want to be friends with. The rooms are gorgeous and cleaner than ANY chain hotel ever. I travel every month for work to a different city I have been in A LOT of hotels and none of them are in this league. The jetted tub in my room was immaculate and wonderful. The "lobby" is so picturesque it seems pulled straight from a fantasy. The entire hotel and the experience of staying and having them take CARE of you is just dreamy. They booked our dinner for us and had shopping suggestions and knew where to go to just have a beautiful time. These will be some of my most treasured memories in my life. I can never say thank you or be thankful enough to make them understand that by just being themselves and brilliant at what they do they made my life wonderful even if only for a few days. If you are even considering staying here the choice is easy trust me you WILL NOT go wrong or regret a second of it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at the Royal Elizabeth. The Ryan Patrick suite is beautifully appointed. This room is conveniently located to the beautiful pool, spa and outdoor patio area. The only negative about the room is the bed. It is the smallest Queen size we have ever slept in and we could feel all the springs-an easy fix with a good foam topper! Eric and Joseph (the innkeepers) are incredible. They go out of their way to make our stay was perfect. Their breakfast is clearly a 5 star event, impressive even for the most sophisticated palette! The owner's showed up for breakfast and shared additional information about this historic restored home. Very nice touch. Thanks for an incredible stay!

The Royal Elizabeth is gorgeous and full of history. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The best part of it all though is the inn keepers. Glen & Susan make you feel like family. We had a great stay.

The man who owns this "gem" is a real piece of work. I was there early in the morning to take care of two things at one time. First, I was picking up a friend who was doing her clinical trials in a clinic down the street from there. She is a nursing student. Secondly we were having some professors coming to visit our department and I WAS coming to talk to the proprietor however when I parked, the owner, as he proclaimed himself to be, came up to me and started to talk to me as if I was some common piece of trash sleeping on their doorstoop. When I looked at him in amazement from the disgusting rudeness, he tried to talk to me as if I was an idiot. I wonder if he knew who he was talking to he would have changed his tone. Either way, he has lost the business of an establishment that would have brought him no less than an average of 120 customers a semester. Congratulations sir, you are now the winner of the nastiest, small-minded astounding idiot of a business owner for the entire south of Arizona. Maybe you should learn to TALK to people instead of treating potential customers like trash, especially when you have NO idea of who they are or what they do.
