The BIG 3 DAY WAREHOUSE SALE was amazing in how poorly it was conducted. I found a rug in the Warehouse that was $50 more expensive than what was presented on the sales floor (indoors). When I inquired about this the worker insinuated with tone amd words that I was a moron and that the price difference was due to size. He was certain, no way it could be the exact same rug.
Then there was a rug up on the wall in the main sales room floor that was grossly dirty and ripped. There was gun on it. Nice!
Worst experience. Tried to purchase two small stools that were in one box and ready to go (probably 15 lbs). The sales lady told me not to move the box, but she placed my order and was pleasant. The lady who took my payment looked bored, but was tolerable. She told me to go to the loading area and someone would be there to assist. I went to the loading area and no one was around. I walked into the store found my small box and picked it up to leave. I was approached by a man with a radio who told me to stop and put the box down. He told me it needed to be signed out and that I could have hurt myself picking up this 15 lb box. I explained that I had paid for the item and that it was light weight. He then told me someone needed to come from some other area to check it out? I told him to check it out himself and he said there were people who had specific jobs and his job was not to check it out. I waited a few minutes and no one arrived. Needless to say I left the package next to my truck and drove off. He just looked at me as I left and said "don't you want a refund." $100 I lost at this crummy place, what a joke, and never again. I was on my lunch break and was hoping to pick up the item and get back to work, so i didn't have time to go back inside and get the refund.
Love the service, I'm working in to furnishing my bedroom now . I just buy one piece at the time . I visit the store twice a week looking for The pieces that match . I just love it .
Terrible customer service from Alexis Newton at this location. I had to order a replacement slip cover for a new couch as it came from the factory with marks. Rooms to Go sent out a slip cover but it was the wrong size, probably for the chair. I contacted customer service to ask what needed to be done and I was told they would look into it and call me back. After three phone calls from myself to customer service and asking to talk to a manager, the manager just told me to return it to a store. Why did this take two weeks, multiple phone calls and still no answer? This manager Alexis Newton was rude and even hung up on me when I asked to talk to her boss. All I want is the slip cover replacement that I purchased and a correct answer on how to return and how to get the one I purchased. Terrible. This woman needs counseling from superiors on how to treat customers.
Rob/Robert was awesome. Very helpful, no pressure and realistic.
This place is very bad when it comes to customer service. Rep who helped us was actually nice but that is the only person you would find to be nice at this place. There is this young lady cashier who thinks she is the queen and would not even smile, forget about any thanks from her. Guys who help you with loading are so rude and have the face like they got punished for doing there job. I felt like not buying cheap furniture but like I was getting it for free. I was expecting a delivery phone call which I never did and when I called lady who answered my phone call said " oh yes they should deliver between 12 - 4 pm and than hang up on me.
My salesman Robert was great, no pressure, he gave me distance to look at everything but was immediately available anytime I had a question. He was extremely knowledgeable about what products were in stock and if they were good quality, helped me with delivery and best of all, helped me with all the prices. Great guy, very friendly. I stuck around for a few minutes to chat with him even after it was all bought and paid for. Thanks Robert.
I have shopped at this place several times over the years. ..and I found that some of the things that they have may have damage that you can't see until you buy it and get it home. I brought a box spring that was not levelone side higher than the other. Another time I brought a sofa that looked great but the base frame broke. Just make sure the items that you buy are the same one that you picked and they load on your truck. I found that Highland Furniture on Hwy 60/&301 has much larger and better quality furniture.
