Several lack luster service experiences here. Disappointed with the attention to detail - seems like the service department is over worked and/or under staffed. Â
Recently I brought my car in with instructions to repair or replace a set of tires that are slowly leaking air and to replace a headlight. I miss a call from them 2 hours after I drop the car off and I call back seven times over the next three hours, leaving messages for the tech, unable to reach the technician because he was 'with another customer' every time. He never called me back, either. When I pick the car up they let me know they didn't install the tires because they wanted me to approve the expense. Insultingly, they didn't even inflate the tire with low pressure and I left with the warning light still on! They wanted me to come in the next day. I had already spent $40 on ride sharing services to and from the dealership so they halfheartedly offered me a shuttle service for tomorrow.
Ways to improve:
1) The service receptionist could have asked me whether or not I wanted to pay for new tires (even though I had already said I wanted to!). Why do I need to vainly attempt to reach a service tech to approve a service?
2) Better service departments reach out by text, email, and phone - the lack of a call back (or text!) cost me another day of trying to replace my tires.
3) calling to schedule service is as rigid as booking online, however if you're at the service desk they find little ways to 'squeeze' appointments into the schedule - it's frustrating to know there is a rigid gatekeeper to a flexible process.
We've been going to Rohrich Toyota for over 30 years now and with the service and direction of our sales rep. Kevin Kinsella we will continue to do so. A few of the people have changed but the expectation of excellent service remains the same. Oil change and 35,000 mile checkup. Great work!
Very friendly and competent receptionist. Very nice place for waiting for the work to be done (comfortable, with tables for working on, and comfy chairs for reading. Option to NOT hear the TV, and a welcome Keurig machine for fresh coffee!)
I had the most amazing experience while purchasing my brand new Rav4 Hybrid. Reed, my salesman, his manager, and my finance guy Jim went above and beyond to accommodate me and get me into my brand new vehicle as soon as possible. I came to this dealership after having totalled my car in a deer accident. While fighting with the insurance company has been a horrendous experience, working with the guys at Rohrich Toyota has been this experience's saving grace. I cannot sing all of their praises loud enough and have been referring everyone I know over to Rohrich Toyota on West Liberty Ave.
I had a great experience there. I was only going to test drive the car, but made a decision to buy 15 minutes into my appointment! Everyone was super friendly and professional and made me feel welcome and confident about the choice of a car I made. Chelsea was the first point of contact over the phone, and then when I came in, Carley was absolutely wonderful! She explained everything to me and answered all my questions. Then Amy was wrapping up the deal and she made me feel at ease about the financial aspect. I was very nervous at first because this was my first time ever buying a new car and being to a dealership. But thanks to Rohrich Toyota great team that nervousness was gone right away. I will definitely recommend them to my friends and family.
Poor service, having transmission issues, they didn't even do a diagnostic . Changed the fluid $124.45, didn't solve the problem. Told me they could order me a transmission $4300.00. No Thanks. Took it to a transmission shop turns out to be the computer module $1050.00, runs like a champ. After 10 years of dealing with Rohrich I expected better. Won't be going back.
I had a great experience with Sales Associate Luke Wagner as he walked me through the ins and outs of leasing my first vehicle. He was genuine in getting to know me, and was completely transparent in suggesting the right type of car for my needs. Well-mannered and very flexible, Luke made sure I left the dealership satisfied. I ended up going home with a deal he was even jealous of as a fellow Toyota owner. Zero complaints.
Just because I am a Toyota customer so I thought to have the PA state inspection at the service center. It was my first time for PA state inspection. Though the service is good but the price is almost double than any other private renowned shop. I regret going there for the inspection. Other renowned shops are doing it for half the price.
I purchased my car one year ago. The buying process was great, easy, quick. I have visited the service department twice(oil change, inspection). The entire staff is extremely professional and nice. I feel very comfortable taking my car in and calling with questions.
The waiting area is nice, and the wait time the staff estimated was right on. I also like the e-mail and text reminders of appointments. I would definitely recommend Rohrich to a friend and purchase my next vehicle there.
Just purchased a used car from Rohrich and had a terrific experience from start to finish. We worked with Corie Chiodo, who was friendly, professional, and extremely helpful. We came in with a pretty good idea of what we wanted. Corie respected that and helped us refine our choice without pressuring or attempting to up-sell us. He was upfront about pricing and (even though it was super busy at the dealership) highly courteous of our time, going above and beyond to help make the whole process smooth and painless. The folks at Rohrich also helped us turn in our old car and gave us a very fair price--again, all done with transparency and total ease. When extra paper work needed to be signed, Corie even drove out to my neighborhood to deliver them. I expected the whole car purchasing-process to be long and annoying; that was absolutely not the case at this dealership. I feel confident that we got a great deal and I'd recommend Rohrich and Corie to anyone--working with them was excellent.
Corie Chiodo was very patient with me and helped lease a car for my daughter. I spent many hours with him and he never lost his patients with me and I was very indecisive. He made suggestions and always was kind and very professional. I would never go anywhere else to purchase a car or lease a cara few days later my other daughter purchased a car also. And again I spent many hours with him also. Everyone at Rohrich was kind, pleasant and helpful. I never encounter a negative attitude. I also have to put in a plug for Mark Podrosky (GM) for suggesting I talk to Corie. Mark also spent time with me and took the time to talk with me many times, either by phone or in person. Never felt rushed or pressured when dealing with Mark or Corie. Thank you again Corie and Mark for making the car buying experience easy and for never giving up on me. Susan Niedermeyer (for Sarah)
Good experience; best aftermarket feature they offer to all customers is the Free Oil/Filter changes for life of car as long as YOU own it. This was the tie-breaker with other car dealerships. Consider shopping there, you won't be disappointed.
It was easy to make an appointment online, and scheduling a week in advance, I was able to get a Saturday afternoon appointment. When I got to the service center, the staff was very friendly, and my service to replace a recall part was complete in under an hour. Fast and friendly!
The salesperson my family was working with, Mike, was great. However, while he was acquiring the car we wanted to test drive another salesman came over and asked my 4-year-old if she wanted popcorn. It was nice offer, but my wife said, "No thanks, she's going to have dinner as soon as we're done here today." This other salesman pointed at my daughter and laughed at her and taunted her because she wasn't allowed to have popcorn. My daughter was visibly upset by being taunted/bullied by an adult. He acted like a poorly behaved toddler at best. We gave Mike a chance to show us the car, and he did a great job, but my experience at Rohrich Toyota was so soured by this second salesman that I will never set foot in another Rohrich dealership in my life. I can't do business with a company that employs adults that taunt small children. I'd give them a zero star review if Google allowed it, but one is the minimum.
